The Eastern Conference started a couple games behind the West, but we are finally at an elimination game. Game 6 of the Bucks vs. Hawks series is lone game to be played today, making DFS NBA picks and lineups a bit tricky to create. So if you’re looking for a different way to play NBA fantasy contests today, PrizePicks could be a site that interests you. Instead of building lineups of players, at PrizePicks, you are making predictions on player props, stats or fantasy points, with more correct predictions meaning higher payouts.
PrizePicks provides a big list of stats and fantasy points, and you can pick and choose which you want to make a prediction for. Stringing together a few picks can payout up to 10 times your entry fee. You are even able to combine picks across different sports. The only rule is you must make picks for players on at least two different teams.
For the sake of this article, we will take you through three of the best NBA fantasy PrizePicks predictions to make for the Bucks -Hawks NBA Playoffs Game 5 matchup.
PrizePicks NBA Fantasy | Bucks vs. Hawks Game 6
It is important to note that, much like odds that update throughout the day, the player totals at PrizePicks are subject to change. So if you like these NBA picks below, it’s wise to jump on them quickly.
Bobby Portis: Over 33.5 NBA Fantasy Points
We unfortunately don’t get to pick Bobby Portis over a low NBA fantasy point total like last time, but this is still a number he can eclipse. Portis has proven to a productive per-minute player, averaging 1.15 fantasy points per minute this season. With Giannis Antetokounmpo out, Portis is going to see as many minutes as he can handle. Last game, that meant 36 minutes. At his average pace, that should have meant 41.4 NBA fantasy points. It actually led to 45.1. Either way, both numbers are much higher than 33.5, and I have faith he can do it again.
John Collins: Over 14.5 Points
We have seen multiple times this series that John Collins has an issue getting in foul trouble and/or disappearing on the floor. However, a massive reason for this was the presence of Giannis on the floor. Without Giannis out there last game, Collins stayed out of foul trouble and attempted 16 shots; his most since Game 1. This led to 19 points on the night. There’s no reason to think he cannot do it again. The Hawks need him to be aggressive and score.
P.J. Tucker: Over 6.0 Rebounds
We have seen P.J. Tucker dominating the boards all series long. In fact, he has averaged seven rebounds over these five games, though that does not tell the full story. He has seven or more rebounds in four of the five games. The one game he failed to reach this mark was a fluke and a clear outlier, as he grabbed only two rebounds. Tucker is coming off an 11-rebound game that saw Brook Lopez also see a ton of minutes. Without Giannis on the floor grabbing every defensive rebound to quickly start the break, Tucker should see a big helping again tonight.
