NBA DFS Value and Advice | April 19
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies have some injury concerns, with Ja Morant listed as questionable. If Morant sits, Tyus Jones will become a top play at his price tag. Additionally, players like Desmond Bane, Dillon Brooks and Jaren Jackson Jr. will see increased usage and are viable options in tournaments. However, if Morant plays, the Grizzlies will become less appealing, and Tillman will be the only player on the team with a chance of being optimal on DraftKings.
For the Lakers, D’Angelo Russell is an excellent play at just $5,800 on DraftKings and $6,700 on FanDuel. He played 36 minutes in the last game and has been producing around 1 DraftKings point per minute with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the floor. Austin Reaves is another value play to consider. The rest of the Lakers team looks like secondary options in tournaments.

Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as questionable, and his status will impact the Bucks players appeal. If Giannis plays, nothing looks great from Milwaukee, but if he sits, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday and Bobby Portis become top priorities. Brook Lopez would also become a more appealing play.
On the Miami side, the Heat are pulling a ton of ownership due to their cheap prices on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Tyler Herro will miss, and Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo should each see increased production. Gabe Vincent and Kyle Lowry will see more minutes, and Lowry is a low-owned player with a chance to be optimal on DraftKings. Max Strus and Caleb Martin are viable secondary value options. Kevin Love is a question mark, but if Giannis sits, Love could see increased playing time and become a strong value.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Denver Nuggets
Nikola Jokic and Rudy Gobert are listed as questionable, but it sounds like both players will suit up. If Jokic is in, there are no top priorities from the Nuggets, but there are plenty of viable secondary options. Jokic is always a strong play, but he comes with a high price tag. Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. are all mid-range pieces to consider. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is a value play.
Karl-Anthony Towns becomes an excellent play at his price tag. Anthony Edwards is also a strong play, and Mike Conley is an excellent value play on DraftKings.
