Today’s Top NBA Player Props | April 27
3. De’Andre Hunter Over 14.5 Points (-102, FanDuel)
Today is a bit of an unusual slate in that Hunter is for once popping as an over bet on several props. He has been hard to trust on a night-to-night basis this season, but with a couple of decent games in the series, Hunter is now looking strong on NBA Bet Pro. Now, he has only gotten to 15 points in two of the five games this series despite playing 35-plus minutes in four of those, but he did average 15.4 points per game this season and hit this over in 37 of 57 (55.2%).
Most of all, however, NBA Bet Pro is projecting steps back from most of the peripheral Hawks, with the usual suspects of Dejounte Murray and Trae Young the only others projecting for at least 12 points. Hunter projects for 16.3, and at good odds (-102), this is earning the over on 14.5 points a 4% expected ROI on a 52% win expectancy.
2. Derrick White Under 2.5 3-Pointers (-175, BetMGM)
White certainly has had the green light on 3’s this series, as he is averaging six attempts a game — up from the 4.8 a game he averaged during the regular season. And he is making them at a decent rate as well. That said, this came during a stretch where Jayson Tatum was ice cold from deep and Jaylen Brown was not taking nearly as many 3’s as he did during the season. NBA Bet Pro is projecting some regression from Tatum and Brown, plus 2.4 3’s from Al Horford, who has not made more than two 3’s in a game this series.
With that swing in 3-point production, White’s volume is likely to take a dip as well. NBA Bet Pro has him making 1.9 3’s, earning a 67% expected win rate that is only offset by the -175 odds.

1. De’Andre Hunter Over 1.5 3-Pointers (+110, BetRivers)
This is NBA Bet Pro‘s favorite bet from an EV standpoint, though the massive expected win rate on White’s 3-pointers under give sit the edge as an sEV play. That said, the plus money is a huge boon for this over, especially since it has a win rate over 50%.
Hunter’s 3-point volume has been strong as of late, as he is averaging six attempts a game this series while making two. He has hit at least two 3’s in three of the five games in the series, and since he is projecting for nearly 37 minutes, the volume should be there to hit this over as long as he is reasonably efficient. NBA Bet Pro projects him to make 1.9 3’s, giving the over a 51% expected win rate and a whopping 8% ROI.
