Top NFL DFS Value Plays
Jayden Reed – $4,700
Reed saw a reduction in snap share in Week 13 to 47%, but that was likely due, at least in part, to a chest injury that was still nagging him. Now he has had an extra week to get healthy, and more importantly, the Packers are without top receiver Christian Watson. Reed should see increased opportunities against a Giants defense that has given up the second-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the past five weeks. Reed’s projection of 10.46 fantasy points makes him the eighth-best point-per-dollar play in Stokastic’s OwnersBox NFL DFS projections, and the seven ahead of him are all more expensive.
Chigoziem Okonkwo – $3,800
Okonkwo has 53 targets on 60.1% route participation this season, second on the Titans in both categories. The Dolphins have been stingy against tight ends recently, giving up the second-fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to the position over the past five weeks. Still, Okonkwo’s talent and opportunities stand out on a slate without much to get excited about at tight end. Okonkwo’s projection of 8.38 fantasy points is the 10th-best overall value on the slate.
Romeo Doubs – $5,000
Similar to Reed, Doubs benefits from the absence of Watson in a premium matchup. Doubs led the Packers in route participation in Week 13 at 66.7%, and he has the 12th-best overall projection on the slate at 10.71 fantasy points.
Tucker Kraft – $3,700
Kraft saw six targets in Week 13, second most on the Packers, and was third on the team in route participation at 59.0%. The Giants have been noticeably better against tight ends than wide receivers, giving up the fourth-fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to the position over the past five weeks. But again, there are slim pickings at the position, and Kraft’s price tag offsets the tough spot. With a projection of 7.51, Kraft is the 13th-best point-per-dollar value on the slate.
Dontayvion Wicks – $3,900
Rinse and repeat what has been said about Packers receivers in a great spot with increased opportunities. Wicks was at 33.3% route participation in Week 13 and saw four targets. Wicks’ projection of 7.88 fantasy points is the 15th-best value on the slate.
Wan’Dale Robinson – $3,800
Robinson led the Giants in route participation the last time they played, in Week 12, at 75.8%. He saw five targets, second on the team. The Packers defense has been tough on opposing wide receivers, giving up the seventh-fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to the position over the past five weeks. But top corner Jaire Alexander remains out, which helps, and Robinson’s projection of 7.55 fantasy points is the 16th-best value on the slate.
