Let’s look at Stokastic’s Top Golfers Tool to find the best leverage PGA DFS picks for the BMW Championship.

PGA DFS Picks & Leverage: 2023 BMW Championship

Sungjae Im

Stokastic PGA DFS Optimizer Leverage Ranks: DraftKings: 10th, FanDuel: 5th

Im is fresh off an impressive fifth at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, in which he ranked third in par-4 efficiency and eighth in strokes gained off the tee for the tournament. He now has 16 top-25 finishes this season, and his driver has been a huge key to his success, with him ranking 19th in strokes gained off the tee.

Plus, Im has impressed at no-cut events in the past, ranking eighth in this field in total strokes gained over the last 50 rounds at no-cut tournaments. He struggled and finished 56th in his debut at Olympia Fields in 2020 but was in far worse form then, with two missed cuts in his previous three starts before that edition of the BMW Championship. Playing much better golf this time around, Im is a threat to contend this weekend and is one of the best GPP plays on the board; Stokastic projects him for only around 10% ownership on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Si Woo Kim

Stokastic PGA DFS Optimizer Leverage Ranks: DraftKings: 11th, FanDuel: 10th

After missing two straight cuts, Kim has gotten back on track, finishing 33rd at the Wyndham and 16th at the FedEx St. Jude Championship in his last two starts. At both of these tournaments, he collectively gained strokes tee to green, off the tee and on approach. Furthermore, Kim shot under par in all but one of his rounds during this two-start stretch.

Including a win at the Sony Open, Kim has 10 top-25 finishes this season. Plus, his work with driver has been the best of his career, as he ranks 25th in strokes gained off the tee and 22nd in total driving for the year, making him a terrific fit for Olympia Fields. Kim brings top-10 upside this week, and on top of being reasonably priced on both DraftKings and FanDuel, Stokastic is forecasting him for single-digit ownership on both sites.

Chris Kirk

Stokastic PGA DFS Optimizer Leverage Ranks: DraftKings: 7th, FanDuel: 8th

Kirk bounced back at the FedEx St. Jude Championship last week after missing two cuts in a row, finishing 16th while ranking seventh in par-4 efficiency. Additionally, he gained strokes from tee to green, off the tee, and on approach and shot -3 or better in three of his four rounds. Kirk has now posted a top-25 finish in three of his past five starts and will look to carry this momentum over to Olympia Fields, which is a venue that suits his game.

Kirk ranks 12th in this field in total strokes gained on par 70s over the last 50 rounds, and he should beat his near-minimum salaries with ease. He is an awesome contrarian punt play, with Stokastic slating him for low ownership on both DraftKings and FanDuel.
