FINAL ROUND Genesis Invitational Expert Golf Betting Picks & PGA Odds

Welcome to the Awesemo Expert Golf Betting Picks for the final round of the 2022 Genesis Invitational. It’s been the Joaquin Niemann (-210) show the first three rounds, as he carries a three-shot lead over nearest competitor Cameron Young (+450), who has yet to win on the PGA Tour.

Starting the six back, double the shots he made up today, Viktor Hovland (+900) presents the most likely option of golfers to catch Niemann. He’s played his last 36 holes at fourteen under as well, beating Niemann by four over that stretch, something he’ll have to improve upon even further if he wants to catch him. Since Niemann has such a strong lead, we’ll look at another bet instead of an outright, as well as two picks that could come from way behind to steal the victory tomorrow.

Round 4 Golf Betting Picks This Week for Genesis Invitational

Bet: To make an Eagle in the final Round- Viktor Hovland +500

Outside of Young, Hovland has the best shot at catching Niemann tomorrow and will have to play aggressively to do so. An opening eagle would undoubtedly help him do that, and with how easy that first hole is and how aggressive Hovland will have to play, we like the value being presented here on DraftKings.

Top Outright Candidate: Collin Morikawa +3500

Sitting at a full eight shots back, Morikawa is going to have to hope that Niemann and company shoot even par while he goes out and ties the low for the week, 62. If, and that’s a big if, he does that, he could have a chance to win the event, and given his stats this week, with his irons getting better each round, it could be set up for a real low one tomorrow. Again, eight shots is a massive hole to cover, but if anyone can do it, he can.

Deep Shot: Max Homa (300/1)

Using that nine under 62 as a number golfers can shoot at this course, Homa would have to hope Niemann shoots even or worse just to catch him. If he’s got anything going for him, it’s that he came from 5 behind last year, and basically, all on the back nine, to capture his second PGA Tour title and can draw on that experience if he does get his round going. Again, nine shots is a massive hill to climb, but at least he’s been in a position somewhat like this before, and came away with the victory.
