A full slate of games awaits tonight for MLB betting picks, with Coors Field taking center stage on offense and Kyle Gibson taking the mound against a vaunted Astros team. After analyzing all of the MLB betting odds, I have found some ideal spots to target for our MLB player props, picks and predictions. Let’s dig in and make some money.
MLB Betting: Player and Team Props Odds & Best Bets | June 15
Mike Minor Over 7.5 Strikeouts vs. Tigers: +138 (FanDuel)
Facing the Tigers for strikeouts is profitable for pitching staffs and also for those targeting strikeout props. Today Mike Minor is in line to face the swing-happy Tigers team. Minor’s strikeout stuff has been excellent this season with his strike out rate sitting at 26.6%. He is also not allowing many hard hits or exit velocity. This should let him go deep in the game to rack up the strikeouts needed. Detroit is dead last in the league, striking out 28.2% as a team. This was also before they brought up more swing-and-miss players from the minors. Strikeout props against the Tigers will be a mainstay in this article this season, so readers may be tired of seeing this play over and over again. But surely they will not be tired of counting the increasing balances in betting accounts.

Padres Run Line -1.5: -156 (FanDuel)
The Padres take on Chi Chi Gonzalez in 90-degree weather at Coors Field and sending Yu Darvish to the mound. It appears as if this might be a great recipe for success. Gonzalez is sporting a 13.4% strikeout rate, 43.5% hard hits allowed, .390 xwOBA and .548 xSLG. That will not do in any stadium, and it is definitely a recipe for disaster in the elevation at Coors. The run total is set at 7.1 for the Padres today, and that is the highest run total of any team in this young season. Instead of betting that, the run differential at -1.5 for the Padres is the target, as they are sending a perennial Cy Young candidate to the mound in Darvish. All of these factors combined should lead to a comfortable bet on the Padres tonight.
Kyle Gibson Over 4.5 Strikeouts vs. Astros: +130 (PointsBet)
This bet is not for the faint of heart. However, targeting a rejuvenated Kyle Gibson facing the hardest team to strike out in the whole league at plus-money odds should be profitable in the long run. Gibson has shown great swinging-strike numbers this season. Against the Giants last time out he had a 15.2% swinging-strike rate, and his last start in Houston he was successful at inducing swinging strikes at a 12% clip. He has also lasted an average of 6.5 innings in his last two Houston starts, and that should be plenty of time to accumulate the strikeouts needed to win this prop.
