NBA Betting Prediction: NBA Player Props | April 6

Tomas Satoransky Over 5.5 Assists

Things haven’t exactly gone according to plan for the Chicago Bulls since their flurry of trade deadline moves. Nikola Vucevic finally got his first win in a Bulls uniform over the weekend as they took down the ailing Brooklyn Nets. Despite the losses, Satoransky has been providing steady statistical outputs for several weeks now. Sunday’s game was arguably his best of the season, scoring 19 points and dishing out 11 assists in the win while including a pair of steals.

The 31 minutes Satoransky played on Sunday marked the third time in the last four games he has seen 30+. Meanwhile, his number of assists have been correlating exactly with the minutes being played. In each game where Satoransky has played 3o+ minutes, he surpassed tonight’s NBA betting line of 5.5 total assists.

While Coby White has garnered plenty of hype, he hasn’t proven to be a great distributor. Despite averaging eight more minutes played per game this season, White is averaging just 4.1 assists compared to Satoransky’s 5.0. White is listed as probable to return tonight, but the minutes figure to be restricted. Furthermore, Billy Donovan is not going to intentionally limit Satoransky after the game he just had, so play the over on 5.5 assists.

Markieff Morris Over 5.5 Rebounds

When the Lakers are healthy, Morris is little more than a role player. The defending NBA champions are far from healthy right now, with both LeBron James and Anthony Davis still sidelined with injuries. Morris is averaging just 19.6 minutes per game this season, but that number has shot up recently with a lot of vacated minutes up for grabs. Morris has been on the floor for 27 minutes or more in each of the last five games, and he also went over the 30-minute threshold twice in that stretch.

With the increase in playing time, there are bound to be some NBA betting opportunities while the market and oddsmakers work to adjust. The Awesemo NBA Player Props Tool is very high on Morris to exceed 5.5 rebounds in tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors, and it’s not hard to agree when diving deeper into the matchup.

Morris has grabbed a minimum of five rebounds in each of the last 10 games. He has exceeded tonight’s NBA betting prop line of 5.5 in six of those contests, including in three of the last four. His chances to do so against the Raptors are very good given that Toronto averages an NBA-low 49.0 rebounds per game as a team. Increased minutes and a matchup against the worst rebounding team in basketball make the over the only option here.

Andrew Wiggins Under 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

The second half of tonight’s nationally-televised doubleheader on TNTN features an intriguing matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors. The injury reports are relatively clean for both sides, with Giannis Antetokounmpo listed as probable for Milwaukee. This will be a great NBA betting matchup, but Wiggins is not necessarily going to fill up the stat sheet to go over his NBA player props line.

On the season, Wiggins’ combined per-game averages for points, rebounds and assists adds up to be just under tonight’s NBA betting line of 25.5. He has fallen short of the threshold in two straight games, and that’s following a seven-game stretch exceeding 25.5 points, boards and assists in six games. Of course, Stephen Curry was sidelined for the majority of those contests, and this put more of an onus on Wiggins to carry the Warriors offensively.

With Curry back in the fold, Wiggins is no longer being called upon to lead Golden State statistically. Wiggins’ rebound and assists numbers from the last two games have regressed back towards his season averages of 4.8 and 2.3, respectively. That means Wiggins has to account for the majority of his production by scoring. Unless he is able to get hot from deep against a suspect Milwaukee 3-point defense, he is unlikely to make up the difference in tonight’s game. Instead, go against market juice and fade Wiggins.
