The immediate beneficiary of Horford no longer being in the lineup this season is Brown. He was relatively unknown just a few weeks ago until he posted a pair of strong stat lines filling in as the Thunder continued to battle the injury bug. Brown has become a mainstay in the lineup in the ensuing days, logging over 30 minutes in each of the team’s last three games. His biggest line thus far came in Oklahoma City’s most recent outing, a 21-point, 23-rebound double-double.

Perhaps Garland’s teammates didn’t need as much precision passing in order to get quality shots in those games!
