After playing last night, the Spurs will be taking on the Timberwolves again today. Yesterday’s result was a high-scoring, close game, with the Spurs winning, 125-122. This is NBA DFS gold, and the current odds for the game is expecting a similar type of contest. Should this be the case, DeMar DeRozan would be nearly a lock to be among the top performers on the slate. Yesterday he took advantage of the bad Minnesota defense, scoring 38 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists. The ball will be in his hands a lot, giving him a high floor but also a massive ceiling on this slate, considering he smashed value yesterday without totaling any defensive stats.

Dejounte Murray vs. Timberwolves: $6,800/$6,600

32.0% DraftKings Boom/49.8% FanDuel Boom

Sticking with the Spurs, Dejounte Murray has the highest probability to boom on both sites today. Murray is in a great spot, playing in what is expected to be an up-and-down game against a team that ranks in the bottom half of the league in shooting percentage (44.7%). This means there will be a lot of missed shots, which the long arms of Murray took advantage of yesterday, grabbing 14 rebounds. He added 22 points, four assists, one steal and one block. Expect Murray to fill up the box score again.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vs. Nets: $8,000/$7,600

18.7% DraftKings Boom/34.4% FanDuel Boom

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the definition of boom or bust today. He has a greater chance to be a bust than boom on DraftKings. However, Gilgeous-Alexander is still one of the top boom potential players on both sites. The Oklahoma City guard is coming off back-to-back terrific games, reaching 50 DraftKings points in both games. Today he faces a Brooklyn Nets team that averages the third-most possessions in the league (108.3). If the game remains competitive at all, Gilgeous-Alexander has a great chance to put up a lot of points.

NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings + FanDuel Bust Candidates

Caris LeVert vs. Thunder: $7,900/$8,000

84.7% DraftKings Bust/75.4% FanDuel Bust

It is unknown if Kyrie Irving will be with the team tonight, and Kevin Durant is considered to be probable. This coincides with Caris LeVert‘s price rising due to his recent play. Pricing going up while expected production trending in the opposite direction will always land you in the bust section of this article. LeVert has had a usage of 38% this season when he is on the floor without both Irving and Durant, which has been the case during his strong stretch. In a very limited sample size, this has dropped to 18.7% when on the floor with Durant and without Irving. Needless to say, LeVert’s ceiling becomes massively lower, as does his floor, when Durant returns.
