Tuesday features a five-game slate starting at 7:30 p.m. ET, and there are plenty of high-priced options to choose from. With that in mind, where can we look for some value? Let’s take a look at some potential options.

NBA DFS Picks & Optimal Lineup Construction | Oct. 26

Isaiah Roby, PF/C, Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder will be playing without Derrick Favors today, and he has served as the team’s starting center in two of three games this season. He has averaged just under 19.5 minutes per game in his two starts, and those minutes are going to have to go somewhere.

Roby is the leading candidate to absorb them. He entered the starting lineup in the only game that Favors did not start this season, and he averaged 0.90 DraftKings points per minute last year. Historically, he has averaged 22.66 DraftKings points in games where he has played at least 20 minutes, so keep an eye on what his projections look like for tonight.

Otto Porter, F, Golden State Warriors

Porter is coming off his best game of the season Sunday against the Kings. He played just over 24 minutes and finished with 32.3 FanDuel points. Porter has always been an excellent contributor on a per-minute basis — he has averaged 1.21 FanDuel points per minute over the past month — so it is not surprising that he made the most of his playing time.

Porter benefited from the absence of Andre Iguodala in that contest, and Iguodala is probable to suit up tonight. That said, Porter seems like he has solidified his spot in the rotation. He saw the most minutes of any reserve on Sunday, and he played almost as much as Juan Toscano-Anderson and Nemanja Bjelica combined.

Some DFS players might be scared off by the return of Iguodala, so Porter could end up as a low-ownership leverage play. Make sure to utilize the Boom/Bust Probability Tool to check his leverage rating for today’s slate.

Dwight Powell, C, Dallas Mavericks

Powell has operated as the Mavericks;’ starting center this season, but he’s priced essentially at the minimum at $3,300 on DraftKings. He struggled in his first start this year, racking up just 12 DraftKings points over 20.2 minutes, but he bounced back with a respectable 20.5 DraftKings points in his second contest.

He should have plenty of opportunities to rack up fantasy points against the Rockets tonight. Not only do they play a big lineup, but they also rank sixth in pace. The Mavs’ offense has struggled through their first two games, but they are currently implied for 115.75 points in this matchup. That could make them an excellent team to buy low on in DFS and the player prop market. The Awesemo Player Prop Tool highlights some of the most profitable props each day, and targeting exploitable prop bets can be one of the easiest ways to build your bankroll.
