Top 5 FanDuel NBA DFS Picks Today

5. Johnny Davis, Washington Wizards

Davis is projected for 22 points and priced at $4,200 on FanDuel. Despite being in a terrible situation with several key players missing, Davis is expected to start and play around 29 minutes in a pace-up game against Milwaukee. He has a projection of 0.75 points per minute and appears in the optimal lineup 15% of the time. While his stats may not be impressive, his price point makes him a viable option for DFS players looking to pay up for higher-priced players.

4. Svi Mykhailiuk, Charlotte Hornets

As a shooting guard, Mykhailiuk is priced at $5,400 and is projected to score 28 fantasy points with a goal of 40. He’s in the optimal lineup 15% of the time and playing around 32 minutes per game for the Hornets, who are missing several key players. He averages 0.85 fantasy point per minute and could score 16 points, grab around 3.5 rebounds and assists each, and possibly get a steal. Although it’s a pace-down spot against the Raptors, Mykhailiuk is likely to play a lot of minutes due to Charlotte’s limited roster.

3. Killian Hayes, Detroit Pistons

Hayes is priced at $6,000, with a projected score of 30 and a goal of 43. Despite not being in the best pace spot, Hayes should still see 30 to 32 minutes in a competitive matchup. At 0.95 fantasy points per minute, he is cheaper than Jaden Ivey and should produce solid value. With 13 points, 6.5 assists, four boards and two stocks projected for Hayes, he can potentially rack up points across multiple categories. It’s important for the Pistons to stay competitive to maximize Hayes’ playing time and production. If they can pull off an upset, Hayes could prove to be a valuable asset in FanDuel lineups.

2. Skylar Mays, Portland Trail Blazers

With the Trail Blazers having only around 9 to 10 active bodies and five questionable tags, it’s likely that Mays will be starting and playing around 30 minutes in a pace-up game against Memphis. He has a projection of 26 points and is in the optimal lineup 15% of the time. Mays goes for 0.9 fantasy points per minute and is projected to score 12 points, six assists, 3.5 boards and a steal. Even though the Trail Blazers are 18-point underdogs, they were able to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves outright as 18-point underdogs. Thus, Mays is a viable option to consider as long as he starts for Portland.

1. Mark Williams, Charlotte Hornets

Williams is center eligible and projected to score 34 fantasy points, with an optimal lineup rate of 18%. He is projected to play for 28 minutes alongside Nick Richards, who is assumed to play the remaining 20 minutes. Williams is a high per-minute producer and could play up to 34 minutes if things go his way. He has a great combination of price and upside, making him the best center pick for the day. Williams is expected to score 14 points, 11 rebounds, an assist and two stocks in the game. There are other pay-up options for centers, but Williams offers the best value for his price point.
