Let’s take a look at rynpak’s $6,000 FanDuel MLB DFS lineup:
This was a tight one, as rynpak missed out on first place by mere 4 fantasy points despite using almost the same primary stack that the contest winner did. Both went with the Padres and their starter in Blake Snell, and the shared stacking pieces were Gary Sanchez, Ha-Seong Kim and Manny Machado. They also both opted to go to Minnesota for a secondary three-man that included Byron Buxton, and the two lineups even used the same one-off in Lane Thomas. Where rynpak lost a little ground, however, was with the narrow misses at the end of both stacks — Max Kepler in particular dropped only 3 fantasy points and Juan Soto 15.4, while first place got 6 out of Fernando Tatis Jr. and 18.7 from Carlos Correa.
Still, rynpak chose the right two teams to stack, as virtually every high-scoring lineup used at least one — usually both — of the Twins and Padres.
