PROMO CODE INSIDE: Stokastic’s Steve “dacoltz” Buzzard Does It Again, Taking Down $170K in Sunday MLB & NBA DFS

Stokastic’s own Steve “dacoltz” Buzzard is raking in the winnings, and as always, he is doing it with Stokastic tools. On Sunday, the MLB DFS superstar not only took down $100,000 in the DraftKings 7th Inning Stretch MLB contest, but he also added a cool $50,000 on DraftKings in their $150K Alley Oop NBA DFS contest as well as a couple of other wins in MLB DFS pools!

Let’s take a look at Steve’s MLB lineup first:

As usual, Steve’s win came from choosing the right stacks — and on Sunday he went primarily with Boston bats and also grabbed the White Sox on the rare day that their offense was clicking. Both team stacks were quite contrarian, with no hitter on either hosiery-based team getting rostered above 2.7%. And while there were no absolute smashes, six different players contributed at least 20 fantasy points, including both of his starting pitchers, and the only real dud was high-priced Rafael Devers’ 4 points at $6,100.

Steve elected to go chalk with the starters — 60.8%-owned Sonny Gray and 17.9% Chris Sale — but he got leverage by going super contrarian with the bats. And since the pitchers smashed, the chalk paid off. This same lineup won Steve another $10,000 in another DraftKings contest, and he added $10,000 with a FanDuel win, bringing his MLB DFS total on Sunday to $120,000,

Now let’s look at dacoltz’s NBA DFS lineup:

Obviously, a winning lineup yesterday was probably going to include Stephen Curry’s 50 spot, but Steve pushed all the right buttons down the pricing tiers as well. Kevon Looney and his 21-rebound double-double was super helpful, as were solid showings by low-priced Obi Toppin and R.J. Barrett. The Knicks took up four of Steve’s eight slots and hit despite New York losing the game. This was chalky lineup, but Looney at just 17.7% may have made all the difference in getting Steve the $50,000 win, as the second-place finisher did not roster him.

And of course, Steve’s ability to create unique and highly correlated stacks that went against the masses was made possible by his use of Stokastic’s top-notch MLB DFS projections and NBA DFS projections. These tools enabled him to pinpoint unfavorable consensus picks and make successful pivots, and that earned him $170,000 on Sunday! Discover how these tools and projections can benefit you as well!
