NBA DFS Value and Advice | April 24
Milwaukee Bucks (-7.5) at Miami Heat
The Bucks are coming into this game as heavy favorites, and for good reason. They are significantly healthier than the Heat, who are missing Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo and might be without Jimmy Butler as well. Assuming Butler plays, he will be a top play, as he will need to take on a bigger workload with Herro sidelined. The same can be said for Bam Adebayo. Both players will be tasked with carrying a significant offensive load and will likely see plenty of usage in this game.
Kyle Lowry and Kevin Love also look like strong NBA DFS values for the Heat, especially if Love remains in the starting lineup. Max Strus, Calen Martin and Gabe Vincent should see more solidified playing time with Oladipo sidelined, and all project for 14% to 16% ownership on DraftKings, with optimal percentages that are slightly higher. Duncan Robinson played about 24 minutes last game and should see plenty of minutes again with Oladipo joining Herro on the sidelines.
For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to play, and he is only $10,400 on DraftKings, which is one of the cheapest price tags he will ever have. Khris Middleton is relatively inexpensive as well at $7,500, while Jrue Holiday is more appropriately priced at $8,400. Brook Lopez’s production takes a bit of a hit with Antetokounmpo returning, but he still offers some value at $6,100. Grayson Allen is a decent value option, though he is always difficult to trust since he is so far down the pecking order offensively.

Memphis Grizzlies at Los Angeles Lakers (-5)
This game has a much tighter spread than the first game on the slate, with the Lakers favored by just 5 points. Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane are the pieces to get to from Memphis, but they are all appropriately priced. Morant and Jackson are projected to be under-owned in DraftKings tournaments, especially Morant, while Bane is slightly over-owned.
Dillon Brooks projects as a popular value option at just $4,700. Santi Aldama is projected for the most ownership from the team on DraftKings, which is alarming since he only played about 11 minutes last game. At $3,500, he certainly has a path to success, but he looks like one of the most over-owned plays on the slate if that ownership holds.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both strong pay-up options in the same price range and at similar ownership to Antetokounmpo. While Giannis is the better point-per-minute play, there is a good chance that James and Davis play several more minutes in a faster-paced game, so their projections are all similar to each other.
Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell offer value in the backcourt, while a $3,700 Dennis Schroder played about 24 minutes last game and is projected to go under-owned tonight. Rui Hachimura and Jarred Vanderbilt are both viable value options as well, as they should see 22 to 26 minutes. They are risky, but there is still upside.
