Rashid Shaheed – $4,800
With Chris Olave out in Week 15, Shaheed led the Saints in route participation at 76.7%, though he saw just four targets in the game. Olave returns tonight, and Shaheed will slide back down to being the team’s No. 2 receiver, but he has always been a boom/bust play and tonight he has a great matchup with a Rams defense giving up the most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the past five weeks. Shaheed’s projection of 8.85 fantasy points in Stokastic’s OwnersBox NFL DFS projections is the eighth-best value on the slate.
Tyler Higbee – $4,200
Higbee was fourth on the Rams in route participation in Week 15 at 43.2%, but he did see five targets in the game. Higbee has a middling matchup with a Saints defense that has given up the 18th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to tight ends over the past five weeks, and his projection of 6.64 fantasy points is the ninth-best value on the slate.
Juwan Johnson – $3,800
Johnson is in a full-on tight end time share. Even with Taysom Hill out in Week 15, he ran routes on just 43.3% of dropbacks. Still, he’s a capable receiving tight end who can thrive, even in a tough matchup with a Rams defense that has given up the third-fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to tight ends over the past five weeks. Johnson’s projection of 5.30 fantasy points is the 10th-best value on the slate.
Demarcus Robinson – $4,600
Robinson has come on strong the past two weeks, running routes on 86.3% of drop back and earning 13 targets. Despite a tough matchup with a Saints defense that has given up the third-fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the past five weeks, Robinson’s price tag is just a bit too low for his new role. Robinson’s projection of 6.29 fantasy points is the 11th best value on the slate.
