Yesterday’s NBA Player Props Recap
We weren’t shy with yesterday’s Eastern Conference play-in finale, as each of our featured NBA player props offered plus-money payout odds. It was a winning day when considering the odds even though we only hit one of the two. Doug McDermott saw his shooting cool off to our benefit, as he stayed under 17.5 points. While Bradley Beal certainly showed up in a must-win game, he fell a single rebound short of cashing the over play on 5.5 boards. Nonetheless, a profitable day is always welcome, regardless of how we get there.
Tonight’s Best NBA Player Props, Odds, Picks & Predictions
Kyle Anderson Over 5.5 Rebounds
Be sure to shop the odds carefully when looking to play the over on 5.5 rebounds for Anderson in tonight’s game. Although discrepancies are sizable across the market at the time of writing, even-money odds are available. Considering Anderson’s rebounding numbers this season, the Awesemo NBA Betting Player Props Tool is justified in considering this to be one of the top plays of the night.
While his rebounding totals are nowhere near those of teammate Jonas Valanciunas, Anderson has been consistent in the category throughout the season. He averaged 5.7 boards per game on the year and has corralled no fewer than four in eight of the last nine games he’s played. On Wednesday against the Spurs, Anderson pulled down six rebounds. More opportunities figure to be available in what will likely be an uptempo game tonight. On top of that, the Warriors ranked just 25th in team rebounding on the season. Keep in mind that this is essentially an NBA prediction on whether Anderson will exceed his season rebounding average. With that said, one cannot deny the value in even-money odds.
Draymond Green Over 9.5 Points
Regular readers of this NBA player props column are bound to notice this pick being a familiar one. Although tonight’s NBA betting line of 9.5 points for Green is 1 point higher than the 8.5 played over in the teams’ clash to close out the regular season, it is still worthy of attention.

It is duly noted that Green shot 0-for-5 from the floor and scored just 2 points in the Warriors’ loss to the Lakers on Wednesday. He made his presence felt in other ways, but it was an ugly one in the scoring department. The simple fact is such a shooting performance reoccurring against the Grizzlies tonight is nearly impossible. Keep in mind that the Lakers were the second-ranked scoring defense in the league this season. Memphis doesn’t even rank in the upper half. Furthermore, the fact that both the Warriors and Grizzlies rank top 10 in pace of play means there will be more possessions and scoring chances to go around.
Last Sunday, Green nearly eclipsed the NBA betting line of 8.5 points in the first half alone. He finished with 14 points for the game on 4-for-7 shooting. Given the attention that the Grizzlies must pay to Stephen Curry defensively, players like Green should see several quality scoring looks this evening. Be sure to visit the Awesemo OddsShopper Tool for updated odds on this prop. Money has been coming in on the over throughout the day, so betting it sooner than later seems ideal.
