Tyler Herro Under 10.5 Points

The Heat are up against it after dropping each of the first two games of their series to the Bucks. Luckily, Miami will have homecourt in their favor for Games 3 and 4. While this could make a difference for the Heat as a team, arguing for a major uptick in production from Herro is another story. After scoring 10 points on just 2-for-10 shooting in Game 1, Herro went just 1-for-5 from the floor for 4 points on Tuesday. Tonight’s NBA player props line of 10.5 total points would require Herro to score more than he has in any game in the series.

In addition to his poor shooting when he does touch the ball, the major cause for concern with Herro is playing time. He saw just 19 minutes in Game 1 and only 18 in Game 2. Meanwhile, fellow Heat backcourt mates Goran Dragic and Duncan Robinson have shown far better shooting form in the playoffs. While a few 3-pointers could put Herro right on the doorstep of exceeding 10.5 points, will he even see enough minutes and touches to do so? The other factor to note is the Bucks’ defense. Given the depleted state of the Nuggets’ lineup, they’ll take any bit of production they can get from Gordon. He scored in double figures in both Games 1 and 2 while also grabbing eight and six rebounds, respectively. The 28 minutes in both contests are promising, but so are the hefty plus-money odds on the under for 5.5 total rebounds in tonight’s Game 3.
