FINAL ROUND Honda Classic Expert Golf Betting Picks & PGA Odds

Welcome to the Awesemo Expert Golf Betting Picks for the final round of the 2022 Honda Classic. Since early Friday morning, the tournament has been under Daniel Berger’s(-400) control, as he extended his three-shot lead into five. He has the shortest odds of any golfer heading into the final round this year, even surpassing Joaquin Niemann last week, who went wire to wire. While it would take a really poor day for him to lose tomorrow, something like a 72 or 73, his command of the lead makes it a bit harder to find a longshot winner. However, that are a few strategies we can take.

One strategy is to take a look at the matchup bets, and short Berger there, while still expecting him to win the golf tournament. The other is to fill it up with golfers that can post an early score and hope Berger falls apart on the back nine. So we’ll go over a few ideas for each of them.

Round 4 Golf Betting Picks This Week for Honda Classic

Bet: Shane Lowry (-1 10) > Daniel Berger

The first way too short Berger for the final round slate is to bet against him in his matchup. Playing with Shane Lowry (+1000), who should be playing much more aggressively, should yield a few more bridie opportunities than Daniel will have. If he’s putting well, expect him to win this matchup.

Top Outright Candidate: Chris Kirk +1600

Hanging around the leaderboard all week, Kirk had a rough go-on on hole today, the 14th. A poor drive led to a double bogey and stalled his momentum from an earlier bridie on the backside. Still, just five back, Kirk will have one of the best chances to have a come-from-behind win tomorrow.

Deep Shot: Sam Ryder (500/1)

Over the last 45 holes, only Daniel Berger has a better score to par than Ryder, who has shot seven-under. If it weren’t for a quad on the 17th hole on Thursday, he’d be tied for second heading into the final round. But, with a chance to go out a bit earlier than the leaders, he could post a score, somewhere around seven or eight under, and hope Berger falls apart. A long shot for sure, but Ryder is playing with a ton of confidence after that opening nine holes.
