Embiid was also impressive from the free throw line, going a perfect 13-for-13. The other notable performance was from Seth Curry, who shot 6-for-7 from deep en route to a 28-point night.
Brooklyn enters this game without star Kevin Durant, as he is out due to COVID-19 quarantine. This was also the case last game against the Jazz, which resulted in a big 34-point victory. The Nets had a complete shake-up to their starting five with Durant out, opting to start Kyrie Irving, Bruce Brown, Taurean Prince, Jeff Green and Jarrett Allen. It has been an up-and-down season for the Nets thus far. They started the season with back-to-back blowout wins. Since then, they have not strung together two wins in a row, and they also have been blown out one time. The one consistency is that when Brooklyn wins, they score a ton of points. They have averaged 130.75 points in their four wins but only 108.25 points in their four losses.
