MUST BET NBA Picks & Parlays for Magic vs. Trail Blazers Tonight | 2/8/22

Tonight is a wild NBA Tuesday. There have been two big trades executed, and there are still 10 games on tap for this evening. The Trail Blazers were one of the teams that made a trade, and they will take the floor Tuesday night against the Magic. Let’s dive into some NBA betting tips tonight and how to find the best NBA picks and parlays for Tuesday, Feb. 8.

Same Game NBA Picks and Parlays: Magic vs. Trail Blazers

The first step is finding which sport you are going to wager on, so the banner at the top of the screen has the sports separated. Once you are on the NBA page, it is super simple to customize what you are looking for as far as teams and players on the left-hand side of the page.

Now, if you miss one of the odds highlighted in the article because it changed, do not worry. The lines do not always stay the same, as they are updated every two minutes. There will be examples of when you can still wager based on the Awesemo projections. It is also easy to sort the props by what style you want to bet them, meaning that you can choose the highest ROI or the highest expected win rate.

Generally, the best approach is a mix of the highest ROI and expected win rate, and this process should take under 30 seconds to filter what you are looking for. The highlighted wagers in the article can also be bet individually, so if the parlay misses by one leg, it is not a total loss.

Anfernee Simons Over 4.5 3-Pointers and Over 3.5 Rebounds

The C.J. McCollum era is officially over in Portland. The team has decided to rebuild around superstar Damian Lillard — who is currently out with an injury — which means they will be shorthanded on Tuesday’s slate. They are expected to play a very tight rotation, with Simons currently projected for more than 39 minutes.

If Simons is on the floor that much, he is going to get up a ton of 3-point attempts. He is averaging 11.2 3-point attempts per 36 minutes in six games without Lillard and McCollum this season, and he has made 5.1 of them. He has been unusually hot over that time frame, making 45.7% of his 3-point attempts, but Simons could easily attempt 12-plus in nearly 40 minutes. He has made 39.2% of his 3-point attempts this season, so he does not need to be much better than usual to hit the over on 4.5.

Additionally, Simons should be able to hit the over on 3.5 rebounds, which is priced as high as +140 across the industry. He is averaging 3.8 rebounds per 36 minutes for his career, and the Magic rank 26th in team rebound rate.

The Latest Sports Betting Content from Stokastic Odds

Ben McLemore Under 15.5 Points

While Simons should hit his overs with additional playing time, the same cannot be said for McLemore. His usage rate is not nearly as impacted as Simons. In fact, McLemore has decreased his usage rate by 1.2 percentage points in nine games without Lillard and McCollum this season. He is expected to see around 30 minutes tonight, but that does not make him a lock to hit the over on 15.5 points. McLemore is averaging 15.3 points per game in his four starts this season despite shooting an unusually hot 42.4% from 3-point range.

Franz Wagner Under 16.5 Points and Under 3.5 Assists

Wagner has had an excellent rookie season, and the Magic have a bit more offensive upside than usual against the Trail Blazers. In addition to the team being extremely thin, they also rank 29th in defensive efficiency.

Still, these numbers seem a bit high. Wagner is averaging 15.7 points and 2.9 assists per game this season, and most of his best work came with either Cole Anthony or Jalen Suggs out of the lineup. Both players are now back, and Wagner has averaged just 16.1 points and 2.9 assists per 36 minutes when sharing the court with both players. It seems unlikely that Wagner will get to 36 minutes on Tuesday, and both of these props have an expected win rate of at least 67% on OddsShopper.
