Tuesday’s loaded 15-game MLB DFS main slate gets another exciting week of baseball underway. While there are all of those games to choose from, I will narrow it down to the two most profitable MLB DFS plays areas and make selections on Monkey Knife Fight. Tonight’s slate is headlined by the interleague matchup between Nolan Arenado and the St. Louis Cardinals against the Cleveland Indians. Let’s dive into the top Monkey Knife Fight MLB picks and props tonight on July 27.
Tonight’s Top Monkey Knife Fight MLB Player Prop Picks
Monkey Knife Fight has a ton of profitable contests for the public, and here we will break down the two best areas from which to make MLB picks.
More or Less – Pick 2 | Prize: 2.5x
Kenta Maeda vs. Robbie Grossman
There are not a ton of elite pitching options on tonight’s slate, but Maeda against the Tigers will have to do. This number of 5.5 strikeouts should not be too hard to exceed considering the Tigers have one of the worst offenses in baseball. Maeda has notched six or more strikeouts in each of his last four starts, and he is also 1-0 with a 2.81 ERA in three starts against Detroit this season with 21 strikeouts in 16 innings.
Pick: Over 5.5 Strikeouts
Grossman had a clutch two-run home run last night to tie the game at 5-5 in the ninth and send it into extra innings. He will look to build upon that performance, but it will not be easy against a familiar opponent. In eight career plate appearances against Maeda Grossman is 1-for-7 with four strikeouts and a walk.
Pick: Under 1.5 Hits + Walks
Fantasy Challenge – Over 17.5 Fantasy Points | Prize: 4x
St. Louis Cardinals: Nolan Arenado, Harrison Bader
Cleveland Indians: Jose Ramirez
Arenado and Bader are the two hottest hitters on the Cardinals, and Bader has been one of the best in baseball over the last week. He has gone 11-for-23 with three doubles and two home runs in his last six games. Arenado is trying to keep pace over that same span, going 8-for-26 with a double, triple and three homers.
Ramirez has the highest grade of any player in this game, according to Awesemo’s expert projections. Since the All-Star break Ramirez has struggled in a good portion of those games. However, he had a big Friday night against the Rays, going 2-for-3 with a triple, home run and four RBI. As always, the added benefit of Ramirez’s switch-hitting always comes into play during the late innings against opposing bullpens.
