Tonight brings one of the most anticipated games of the NBA Playoffs. It’s the Bucks vs. Nets Game 7, with the winner advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals. The winner will likely end up as the betting favorite to win the NBA championship. This has been a back-and-forth series to this point, and it’s made for some interesting NBA DFS contests on DraftKings and FanDuel. Neither team is utilizing their bench much in this series, so we should be able to pinpoint the NBA DFS picks today.

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($12,200 DraftKings/$16,000 FanDuel) — By a mile, the two top fantasy producers in this series are Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant. Both are strong plays and the optimal lineup constructions include both of them. With that said, Antetokounmpo is the slightly stronger pay up option. James Harden isn’t close to full health but he’s playing massive minutes and taking some touches away from Durant. This is enough to make Antetokounmpo the slightly stronger daily fantasy basketball play of the two stars. He outscored Durant from a fantasy perspective last game as Harden took on a bit larger of a role on offense than he did in Game 5. Giannis is the No. 1 player in the Awesemo daily fantasy basketball projections tonight by nearly 10 points (66.87).
Kevin Durant ($12,000 DraftKings/$16,500 FanDuel) — As written above, the optimal lineup construction for today’s slate includes both Durant and Antetokounmpo. Even though Antetokoumpo has the stronger projection, this isn’t a dig at Durant. Durant put up over 100 DraftKings points in Game 5 and had one of the best performances in NBA Playoff history. The Nets are also showing a willingness to play Durant as many minutes as needed to win games. He played 48 minutes in Game 5 and might not come off the court tonight either.

Khris Middleton ($10,000 DraftKings/$13,500 FanDuel) — If paying up for one of the secondary stars on the Bucks, Middleton makes for a better option than Jrue Holiday tonight. Middleton is showing more upside in this series and playing a bigger role on offense. In fact, Middleton scored 70 DraftKings points last game and was the top fantasy performer in the game. For the series, he has a 28% usage rate compared to a 21% rate for Holiday. These two players are in a price tier of their own which is why it is important to compare them. It also stands to reason that Holiday is taking a bit of a step back on offense now that he has to guard Harden on defense.
Pat Connaughton ($2,000 DraftKings/$8,000 FanDuel) — Connaughton is the cheapest player expected to play significant minutes tonight. He’s actually the only play who’s cheap and is guaranteed to play at all. With the way this series is going, both teams have opted to play really tight rotations in the last few games. The starters are playing almost the entire game which is making it very difficult to find value. Two slates ago, the optimal lineup in the DraftKings Showdown contest included players that scored 0 fantasy points and didn’t step on the court. The same thing could happen tonight since the stars are having such big performances and salary has to get saved somewhere.
