NBA DFS Value and Advice | February 7
New York Knicks vs. Orlando Magic
The Knicks may be without R.J. Barrett, who is questionable for this game. If he cannot play, Immanuel Quickley is expected to start in his place. Julius Randle, Jalen Brunson and whoever starts between Barrett and Quickley are solid plays. On the other hand, Orlando has no clear priorities. The best options from the Magic are Wendell Carter Jr. and Markelle Fultz.
Atlanta Hawks vs. New Orleans Pelicans
Trae Young is the top option from Atlanta. John Collins, Bogdan Bogdanovic and De’Andre Hunter are all at useful price points, making them great options to round out your lineup. For the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram is one of the best plays on the slate, at just $7,100 on DraftKings. With no limitations and Zion Williamson still out, he should have a great game. Jonas Valanciunas projects as a top center option, even if he only plays 24 minutes. Jose Alvarado ($3,500) is too cheap for his normal bench role and is a good value play. C.J. McCollum and Herb Jones are secondary options for the Pelicans.

Phoenix Suns vs. Brooklyn Nets
Phoenix is a risky team to target with Devin Booker returning. Dario Saric is the only player pulling ownership on DraftKings, but his minutes are risky. It is important to monitor who will be playing for Brooklyn. Cam Thomas took 29 shots last night and is a great option if Spencer Dinwiddie remains out. He still has a ceiling if Dinwiddie plays, but he won’t project as well. Edmond Sumner looks like a strong value if he starts for the Suns.
Chicago Bulls vs. Memphis Grizzlies
The Bulls have a tough matchup against the Grizzlies, but DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine offer high ceilings as usual. Andre Drummond is a high-risk, high-reward option, coming off his best game of the season. There is no guarantee he will get much time, however, especially if Alex Caruso is active. Steven Adams remains out, which means Xavier Tillman will start, and he has been playing 29.2 minutes per game in his four starts this season. Jaren Jackson Jr. has seen increased playing time recently, making him an interesting tournament option. Ja Morant always has a massive ceiling.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Denver Nuggets
Kyle Anderson and Rudy Gobert are questionable for this game. If Gobert is active, he’s a secondary play. Naz Reid is one of the best plays on the slate if he starts. If Anderson starts, he’s a strong value. Taurean Prince is likely to become a good value option if Anderson sits, since Austin Rivers is also out. Jaylen Nowell could see increased minutes with Rivers out and Jordan McLaughlin questionable. For the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon all look like strong plays, with Jokic in particular being a top option.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers
The Thunder-Lakers game on Tuesday, Feb. 7 will not include Luguentz Dort. However, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a strong contrarian play with only 5% ownership. It’s uncertain who will start in place of Dort, but Aaron Wiggins, Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams offer potential value. Anthony Davis played 38 minutes in the last game and is a solid GPP option, while LeBron James always remains a top play. There doesn’t seem to be any other standout options in this matchup.
