Dream11 NBA Picks: Awesemo Grades | March 22

SG Anthony Edwards – 9 Credits, 36.59 Projected Points

Now that LaMelo Ball is likely out for the season, it looks like Edwards will have a strong path to winning the NBA Rookie of the Year award. Since the All-Star break, he is putting together huge fantasy outputs on a consistent basis. Friday’s debacle against the Suns was only the second time since the All-Star break that he failed to score 27 points in a game.

Edwards is also logging tons of playing time. In fact, no other player on tonight’s slate is projected to play more than Edwards’ 38 minutes. While we mentioned his increased scoring of late, he is also contributing in all other areas of the stat sheet. Friday’s game marked the first time he grabbed 10 rebounds in his young NBA career.

Tonight’s matchup against Oklahoma City is a good one. Not only are the Thunder playing their second game in as many nights, they are also not a very good team in general. Look for the Timberwolves to do some damage tonight and for Edwards to be at the forefront of it.

SF Khris Middleton – 16 Credits, 44.41 Projected Points

With Giannis Antetokounmpo out for the Bucks, Middleton is going to feast in this role as the primary option. In only one instance of Giannis not playing this season, Middleton had a huge night with 27 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds while adding a block and a steal in 35 minutes.

Tonight’s matchup against the Pacers becomes a much better one considering they played an overtime game in Miami last night. All of that fatigue will certainly add up to lesser defense throughout the game. The Bucks are 5.5-point favorites even without Giannis, so that’s a great sign of things to come.

Middleton is also playing in the only national TV game of the night, so you get the added benefit of checking him out live.

C Moses Brown – 5 Credits, 37.69 Projected Points

Coming in as the player with Awesemo’s best value rating (7538.0), Brown has every reason to be in your lineup construction tonight. For one, he’ll be taking on a Timberwolves team that allows the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. Brown had double-doubles of 20 and 16 then 13 and 14 in two of his last three games, so tonight should seem like a day at the park.

Mainly it is Brown’s 5-Credit price that is overly appealing. Brown’s opponent, Karl-Anthony Towns, is projected to score the most fantasy points (49.99) of anyone of tonight’s slate, but it will cost you 20.5 Credits. Going with Brown saves you tons of money at the same position while getting only slightly fewer points; that remaining money can be spent on the rest of your roster.
