The NBA is finally back! After a great NBA All-Star Break, the NBA returns with a fantastic seven-game slate. There is so much value on this slate filled with three games that have a total of 233 points or higher. This article will provide four great options driven by Awesemo’s Fantasy Basketball Rankings . News is always critical playing NBA DFS. Stay up to date on the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in and out tonight. Also, make sure to check out the NBA DFS advice below before building your NBA fantasy basketball lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel today.

DraftKings & FanDuel NBA Fantasy Basketball Rankings

*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. The initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.

PG Rajon Rondo — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A

The Cleveland Cavaliers will return from the All-Star Break without two key playmakers in Darius Garland and Caris LeVert. They will turn the ball-handling duties over to Rajon Rondo. Rondo is projected to be the best value on DraftKings and the second-best on FanDuel, according to the Awesemo NBA fantasy projections projects. He is very affordable across both sites. Before the break, Rondo had two games where he scored over 40 DraftKings points. The upside is there, which is why he is leading the way on DraftKings in our Boom/Bust tool as well.

Rondo and the Cavaliers are road favorites against the Detroit Pistons tonight. The only downside of this play is that this game has the lowest total on the slate at 208 points. However, that risk is mitigated with the cheap price tag that Rondo provides. He will also be very popular on both sites. According to our ownership projections, Rondo is projected to be the highest owned player on DraftKings and the third-highest on FanDuel. He is a great source of value on this slate and should be a staple in your lineups tonight.

SG Devin Booker — Grades: A, A | Values: B, A

The only player who has an A Grade and A Value on either site is Devin Booker. He is the highest-rated player in our NBA Fantasy Rankings. The Phoenix Suns have the best record in the league by far at 48-10 but will have to play the next several weeks without their point guard Chris Paul. In 472 minutes without Paul on the floor this season, Booker has had a 34% usage rate. He ranks third in the league in field goal attempts per game. Look for Booker to be even more aggressive. He is way too cheap for the upside he provides.

Booker will also be quite popular tonight as the Suns are the largest favorite on the slate against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Our NBA DFS ownership projections have Booker projected to be the highest owned player on FanDuel and second-highest on DraftKings, both exceeding 30%. He is priced at $8,800 on both sites, which is ridiculous for not only this matchup but for playing without Paul. Another Suns player who is popping like crazy is Aaron Holiday. He will likely start for Paul at point guard and provides another great value option. Playing both Holiday and Booker together is reasonable, but prioritize Booker with his incredible upside.

PF Trendon Watford — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A

The Portland Trail Blazers were cooking before the All-Star Break, winning four-straight games despite trading away most of their top-tier assets and Damian Lillard continuing to be out. Their most recent injury is Jusuf Nurkic, who is out for at least the next four weeks. They will turn to rookie Trendon Watford, who has shown upside in his limited playing time. Watford had over 30 DraftKings points two games ago where he nearly had a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Watford is another salary saver on this slate that is almost forcing a stars and scrubs lineup build. Awesemo projects Watford to be the third-highest value option on both DraftKings and FanDuel. He is projected to play 26.5 minutes, which would be a season-high. Watford has not started a game this season, but that could change tonight. Monitor the starting lineups page as he could draw the start. The matchup against the Golden State Warriors is difficult as the Trail Blazers are heavy home underdogs, but Watford is way too cheap in this spot.

Latest NBA DFS Content

C Nikola Jokic — Grades: A, A | Values: C, B

With so much value on this slate, getting to Nikola Jokic feels very attainable on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Jokic is having another MVP caliber season as he leads the Denver Nuggets in nearly every stat imaginable. Jokic is averaging a career-high 13.8 rebounds per game and 1.83 DraftKings points per minute, which leads the league. Jokic is priced in his own tier on both sites tonight, but he is impossible to ignore. Awesemo projects Jokic to score over 10 more fantasy points than everyone on both sites. Fade at your own risk.

The matchup against the Sacramento Kings sets Jokic up for a massive ceiling. The Kings rank 29th in defensive rating and ninth in pace this season. They also lead the league in points allowed in the paint with 51.9 per game. They added Domantas Sabonis before the trade deadline, but this defense still has gotten torched in the paint. This game features a 233 total, which is the third-highest on the slate as the Nuggets are implied to score 118.5 points. Jokic is easily the best play on the slate and there is plenty of value to pay the steep salary.
