Top 5 FanDuel NBA DFS Picks Today

5. Max Strus, Miami Heat

As a shooting guard and small forward, Strus is projected for 25 points at a goal of 27, and he is in the optimal lineup 34% of the time. With Tyler Herro out, Strus should see even more minutes, potentially playing 36 or more minutes. While he is not the best per-minute scorer at around 0.7 fantasy points per minute, his increased playing time more than makes up for it. He has a 17% usage rate and projects for 14 points, five boards, and two and a half assists. Although he might not get many stocks, the matchup against Milwaukee is favorable, especially if Giannis Antetokounmpo is out.

4. Aaron Gordon, Denver Nuggets

Gordon is projected for 32 FanDuel points at a salary of $5,900, making him a strong play. He missed some playing time in Game 1 due to foul trouble, but he is projected to play 33 minutes in a competitive matchup against Minnesota. Although he is out there more for his defense, Gordon still averages around a fantasy point per minute. He has a 20% usage rate and projects for 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists and could get a steal or a block. The matchup is great for Denver against Minnesota, and Gordon should have a big day as long as he avoids foul trouble.

3. Gabe Vincent, Miami Heat

Vincent is projected to score 23 points and has a goal of 27, with an optimal lineup percentage of 36%. The absence of Herro means Vincent will get a boost in minutes, and if Kyle Lowry is also out, his minutes could increase even more. Vincent should play for 33 minutes, which makes him a strong candidate to get involved in the game. Although he averages 0.7 fantasy points per minute, his price of $4,900 is still a good value for his projected performance. He is expected to score 12 points, grab 3.5 rebounds, dish out three assists and get a steal against the Bucks, making him a good pick for today’s slate.

2. Grayson Allen, Milwaukee Bucks

With shooting guard and small forward eligibility, Allen offers great flexibility for DFS lineups at a price of $4,400, projected to score 24 points and being an optimal lineup rate of 36%. Assuming Giannis is out, there are more minutes and touches to go around, and Allen played big minutes in Game 1. He is projected to score almost 0.8 fantasy points per minute, with a usage rate of 18%, 14 points, almost four boards, two assists and a stock. Though Miami is not the best matchup, Allen’s position and price tag make him hard to overlook and in a three-game playoff slate.

1. Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee Bucks

Holiday is projected for 47 points, with a goal of 40 and a 39% optimal lineup rate. Holiday’s stats without Antetokounmpo are impressive, and he projects for 1.25 fantasy points per minute, 25 points, 8.5 assists and six boards. He also has a usage rate of 30% and a stock and a half. With no Giannis in the matchup, Holiday is expected to play at least 38 minutes, possibly even more if it is a close game. The matchup against the Heat is not much of a concern, and Holiday is expected to have a big game without Giannis on the floor.
