5. De’Aaron Fox, Sacramento Kings

Fox is projected for 47 points and is an optimal lineup of 44% of the time, with a salary of $9,400 on FanDuel. He had a tremendous first game and tonight projected for scoring 29 points on 30% usage, 6.4 assists, five rebounds and almost two steals. He’s a point guard only and is projected for 39 minutes and 1.2 fantasy points per minute.

4. Mikal Bridges, Brooklyn Nets

Bridges is eligible as a shooting guard and small forward, which is helpful in a two-game slate. Bridges is projected to score 43, with a goal of 44, and he is in the optimal lineup 44% of the time. He had a great first half in Game 1 but slowed down in the second half. However, he is expected to play 40 minutes in Game 2 and can score upward of 1.1 fantasy points per minute. He projects for 27 points, 30% usage, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and two stocks. Stocks are probably what sets Bridges over the top, as the Nets do not have many other offensive options. Bridges might have to do a little bit of everything if the game is competitive, and he might need an outlier stock performance or an outlier rebounding performance to get to the 44-fantasy-point range.

3. Cameron Johnson, Brooklyn Nets

At only $5,700, Johnson is projected for 28 fantasy points, with a goal of 30, and he is in the optimal lineup 49% of the time. He played around 32 minutes in the first game and is expected to do the same here. With a rate of 0.9 fantasy points per minute, Johnson’s salary is easy to add to lineups. He projects for15 points, five boards, two assists, and a stock and a half. Additionally, his ability to get hot from 3 can give him an upside, making him a great value pick for today.

2. Spencer Dinwiddie, Brooklyn Nets

Priced at $7,400, Dinwiddie is projected for 38 points and averages a fantasy point per minute and a 22% usage rate. Dinwiddie is a good passer and has a high assist rate since being traded to the Nets, averaging 9.5 per game. He also contributes 17 points, 4.5 rebounds and a little over a stock per game. While the matchup is not the best, he is expected to play a good number of minutes, making his price tag justifiable. If the game remains competitive late into the fourth quarter, Dinwiddie is projected to be the second-best play on today’s slate.

1. Kevin Huerter, Sacramento Kings

Huerter is projected for 27 fantasy points and is in the optimal lineup of 52% of the time at a salary of $5,400. Huerter is a shooting guard and small forward, which makes him the best combination of price and position at the moment. He will play about 30 minutes, which is what he played in Game 1, and he will score an average of 0.9 fantasy points per minute. He is projected for 15 points, four boards, three assists, and a stock and a half. Huerter is a great pick for filling both positions, which are hard to fill in a two-game slate.
