Quarterback: Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks
NFL Week 16 Projection: 17.85 DraftKings Points
Core Floor Price: $1.75
Smith has a great matchup with a pass funnel Titans defense that ranks 11th in run DVOA but just 27th in pass DVOA. He has the fourth best projection of any quarterback on the slate, yet his Core floor price of $1.75 is less expensive than any other quarterback in his range. On top of that, Smith has a few potential stacking partners who are also inexpensive. It’s a great week to stack the Seahawks if you want to put together a potentially competitive lineup on the cheap.
Running Back: Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers
NFL Week 16 Projection: 15.24 DraftKings Points
Core Floor Price: $0.65
Hubbard has taken over the Panthers backfield, carrying the ball 22 times in week 15 while adding 2 targets on 57.1% route participation. He has the fourth best projection of any running back on the slate in a great matchup with a Packers defense ranked 26th in run DVOA. And yet Hubbard’s prices are significantly lower than comparable running backs on this slate. He’s an easy buy, particularly given that there are no clear top dogs at the position this week.
Wide Receiver: DK Metcalf, Seattle Seahawks
NFL Week 16 Projection: 14.33 DraftKings Points
Core Floor Price: $2.06
Seahawks receivers are cheap on this slate, making the stack that much more alluring. Metcalf is the most expensive, but he also projects the best of the Seahawks receiver trio by a couple fantasy points. If you would rather pay down, both Tyler Lockett (11.94 fantasy point projection, $0.55 Core floor) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (10.38 projection, $0.40 Core floor, Rookie Card ) are surprisingly cheap.
