FINAL ROUND WM Phoenix Open Expert Golf Betting Picks & PGA Odds

Welcome to the Awesemo Expert Golf Betting Picks for the final round of the 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open. With a ton of big names lurking and an unproven talent Sahith Theegala (+600) in the lead by one, the final round is shaping up to be one of the best we’ve had all year.

Starting the day one back, Brooks Koepka (+275) is the odds favorite to win tomorrow, looking to win his third Waste Management Phoenix Open title. Patrick Cantlay (+600)  and Xander Schauffele (+650) are just two back, while another 15 or so are within five! With a bulk of the scoring done on the back nine, this event will have the age-old saying attached to it; the tournament doesn’t start till the back nine on Sunday.

Round 4 Golf Betting Picks This Week for WM Phoenix Open

Top Candidate: Hideki Matsuayama +1100

A two-time winner this season, and a two-time winner of the event, Hideki has been lurking all week. He’s also learning how to win again, being able to close out tournaments, and also come from behind as he preps up for his Master’s title defense. He’s also learned the Kevin Na walk-in putt routine, and he’s putting it to good use, gaining almost 6 strokes in the first three rounds. The rest of his game is too solid not to be a factor when he’s gaining strokes putting.

Alex Noren: 30-1

It’s been almost four years since Noren has been in the winner’s circle, and he’s never won a PGA Tour event. But he’s putting lights out this week, and the rest of his game seems to be following suit. If he gives his putter a few more birdies or better looks tomorrow, he could post a score and watch the carnage happen down the stretch.

Deep Shot: Jon Rahm– 65-1 or Justin Thomas– 100-1

Looking at Scottie Scheffler’s (+750) round of 62 as a possible low score for the final round, that would take the two pre-tournament favorites to 18 under. That’s been the average winning score over the last four years, 19, 17,17,18. So, if one of them can turn around their icy cold putter, losing a combined 5.5 strokes over the first three rounds, they are great candidates to be able to get to a winning score of around 17 under.
