Best NBA Picks & Parlays for Nets vs. Suns Tonight | 2/1/22

Same-game parlays are one of the most exciting new forms of betting on sports. Not only are the payouts potentially massive, but they can also be +EV. Since all of the wagers take place in the same contest, it allows you to craft a narrative that can pay off royally if it hits. Same-game parlays become even better with the help of OddsShopper. It allows you to view all of the different wagers available for each game compared to the Awesemo NBA Projections. The wider the gap between the line and the projection, the more +EV the wager. This allows you to easily find the best odds and picks for NBA betting tonight. Let’s dive into some of the best NBA picks and parlays for Tuesday, Feb. 1.

Same Game NBA Picks and Parlays: Nets vs. Suns

The first step is finding which sport you are going to wager on, so the banner at the top of the screen has the sports separated. Once you are on the NBA page, it is super simple to customize what you are looking for as far as teams and players on the left-hand side of the page.

Now, if you miss one of the odds highlighted in the article because it changed, do not worry. The lines do not always stay the same as they are updated every two minutes. There will be examples of when you can still wager based on the Awesemo projections. It is also easy to sort the props by what style you want to bet them, meaning that you can choose the highest ROI or the highest expected win rate.

Generally, the best approach is a mix of the highest ROI and expected win rate, and this process should take under 30 seconds to filter what you are looking for. The highlighted wagers in the article can also be bet individually, so if the parlay misses by one leg, it is not a total loss.

James Harden Over 2.5 3-Pointers and Over 9.5 Assists

Taking the over on 3-point props has quickly become one of my favorite options in the sports betting space. These props are almost never priced properly, so there is better than even money on props that are essentially a coin flip.

The over on Harden’s 3-point prop fits the description. OddsShopper gives him a 51% chance of making at least three 3-pointers on Tuesday, yet the over is available at +142 on FanDuel. That translates to an implied probability of just 41.32%. Overall, Harden has made at least three 3-pointers in 22 of his 42 games this season, so there is clear value with the over at the current price.

The over on 9.5 Harden assists also looks good. He has missed the past two games, but he was an assist machine prior to those absences. He racked up at least 10 dimes in seven of his past nine games and he had nine assists in the two games where he failed to crack double-digits. He has averaged 11.8 assists per game over that time frame, so 9.5 seems like a low threshold for him on Tuesday.

Devin Booker Under 30.5 Points

Booker has to cool down eventually, right? Ever since getting into a beef with the Raptors’ mascot in Toronto, Booker has averaged 31.7 points per game and the Suns have posted a 9-0 record. Even during his hot streak, Booker has still hit under 30.5 points in five games. He has averaged just 25.1 points per game this season and has scored more than 30 points in just 10 of 42 games. This seems like a great spot to take the under.

Nicolas Claxton Over 8.5 Points

The Nets are going to be a bit thin in the frontcourt on Tuesday. Kevin Durant remains out with a long-term injury, and LaMarcus Aldridge and Paul Millsap will also be sidelined.

That should lead to a few additional minutes for Claxton. He has played 17.3 minutes or fewer in each of his past two games, but he is currently projected for 25.8 minutes vs. the Suns. He scored nine points in just 17 minutes on Saturday, so he should do it again if he plays more than 25 minutes.

Patty Mills Over 1.5 Assists

This requires heavier juice than usual on this prop, but it owns one of the highest expected win rates on OddsShopper. Mills is known more for his 3-point shooting than his passing, but he is still a guard. Asking any guard to hand out two assists in more than 30 minutes is very reasonable, and he has accomplished that feat in four of his past five games.

Do not bet this prop as a standalone wager, but it is a nice low-risk proposition to add to a same-game parlay.
