Smith is coming into this matchup off of a disappointing knockout loss to Khama Worthy. He will be looking to get back in the win column and prove that he is still a solid prospect in the UFC. Smith has one-punch knockout power and nasty combinations. Awesemo’s UFC DFS DraftKings and FanDuel projections give Smith 73% win odds with a 60% chance for a knockout.
Mid-Priced MMA DFS Picks
Karol Rosa | DraftKings: $8,700, FanDuel: N/A
Rosa is one of the best prospects in the women’s bantamweight division. She was originally supposed to face Nicco Montano, which would have been a step up in competition, but Montano was not medically cleared to compete. Rosa has excellent cardio and is extremely durable in the Octagon. She is a high-volume striker, having landed 291 total strikes in her two UFC fights. Our UFC DFS projections give Rosa 69% win odds.
Carlos Diego Ferreira | DraftKings: $8,200, FanDuel: $16
Ferreira is currently riding a six-fight winning streak, including a second-round stoppage over Anthony Pettis back in January 2020. His first meeting with Beneil Dariush was back in 2014, and Dariush won via unanimous decision. Ferreira will be looking for revenge because Dariush’s win ended Ferreira undefeated record at the time. This is my favorite fight on the card, and I expect a lot of action and excitement in this one. Our UFC DFS projections give Ferreira 51% win odds.
