If looking for a different way to play NFL DFS tonight, it is tough to find anything more unique than Jock MKT. NFL DFS becomes a stock exchange on this platform, allowing users to buy and sell in real time for real money. To play, download the app here and get to trading. In this column, we are going to review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for the NFL Monday Night slate, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT NFL Starter Kit | Week 9 Monday Night Football
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging all the way up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done all the way up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Week 9 Monday Night Football
Najee Harris — RB —Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers offense runs through rookie running back Najee Harris, and Pittsburgh wants to get the football in his hands as often as possible. While the blocking upfront is not great, that has not deterred the Steelers. When this happens, they pass him the ball quickly, almost acting like an extended handoff. This is great for fantasy, as he gets rewards for a reception as well. There are many reasons to like Harris tonight, and there is no game script where he is not the most involved player on the field tonight. He has the highest floor and ceiling of anyone on this slate. Jock MKT ranks Harris as the top overall player, and Awesemo projects him the same way. If this hits, a Harris share would pay out $25.
Eric MacPherson also loves Najee Harris in tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup and talked about that at length in his Week 9 NFL DFS Showdown Spotlight for DraftKings and FanDuel.
David Montgomery — RB — Chicago Bears
It is going slightly under the radar, but Matt Nagy said he expects David Montgomery to play tonight. The range of outcomes for him is very high. Not only is it a tough matchup against the Steelers, but rookie Khalil Herbert has also played extremely well, so the Bears may feel they can ease Montgomery back into action. Given the range of outcomes, his price at kickoff will likely be relatively low. It is possible the Bears will use him at their lead back in the red zone, which gives him upside in a low-scoring game. Jock MKT ranks Montgomery 12th on the slate, but Awesemo projects him sixth. The sixth-highest scorer will pay out $8 per share.

Pat Freiermuth — TE — Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers offensive line has not been great. They are the reason the Steelers need to get the ball out quickly, and rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth has been a big beneficiary of this. He has seven targets in back-to-back games. On top of this, his touchdown upside is high. If the Steelers offensive line is struggling, it will be tough for them to run at the goal line. If Ben Roethlisberger is passing at the goal line, he will likely look to his big, athletic tight end. All it takes is one touchdown catch for Freiermuth to crush his projected value. Jock MKT ranks him eighth on the list, while Awesemo projects him ninth. However, there is obvious upside with him tonight, especially in a game that is projected to be low-scoring.
