Timberwolves vs. Mavericks Same Game NBA Picks & Parlays Tonight | 3/21/22

The NBA is back in full swing on Monday, with another nine games to choose from. It culminates with a matchup between the Timberwolves and Mavericks, who have been flying up the standings. The Mavericks have gone 7-3 over their past 10 games, vaulting them into fifth place in the Western Conference, while the Timberwolves are up to sixth thanks to a 9-1 stretch over their last 10. Overall, these teams are separated by just 1.5 games in the standings, so this is an important contest for both squads. Let’s dive into some NBA betting tips tonight and how to find the best NBA picks and parlays for March 21.

Same Game NBA Parlay: Timberwolves vs Mavericks

The first step is finding which sport you are going to wager on, so the banner at the top of the screen has the sports separated. Once on the NBA page, it is super simple to customize teams and players on the left-hand side of the page.

Now, if you miss one of the odds highlighted in the article because it changed, do not worry. The lines do not always stay the same as they are updated every two minutes. There will be examples of when you can still wager based on the Awesemo projections. It is also easy to sort the props by what style you want to bet them, meaning that you can choose the highest ROI or the highest expected win rate.

Generally, the best approach is a mix of the highest ROI and expected win rate, and this process should take under 30 seconds to filter what you are looking for. The highlighted wagers in the article can also be bet individually, so if the parlay misses by one leg, it is not a total loss.

Luka Doncic Over 3.5 Made 3-Pointers and Over 8.5 Rebounds

There are unfortunately no player props currently available for the Timberwolves, who are still waiting on the status of Karl-Anthony Towns. That’s not a huge problem since there are plenty of appealing props to attack with the Mavericks.

Doncic is coming off back-to-back subpar performances, but there were mitigating circumstances in each. He was limited to just 29.9 minutes in a blowout loss against the Hornets in his last game, and he struggled in a tough matchup against the 76ers two games ago. Even so, Doncic has still drilled at least four 3-pointers in five of his past seven games. He’s attempted double-digit 3-pointers in eight straight games, so asking him to make four is reasonable. He’s not exactly a dead-eye 3-point shooter – he’s made 34.6% of his attempts this season – but he doesn’t need a ton to break right to hit the over in this matchup.

This is also an awesome spot to back Doncic on the glass. He’s averaged 9.2 rebounds per game this season, and he’s pulled down at least nine boards in 31 of his 55 games. The Timberwolves have also been subpar on the glass this season, ranking just 22nd in team rebound rate.

Reggie Bullock Over 2.5 Made 3-Pointers

Bullock is a 3-point specialist, with 316 of his 408 shots this season coming from distance. He’s been below-average in that department, making just 34.5 of his 3-point attempts, but he’s a career 38.4% shooter from 3-point range. That suggests he has room for improvement, and he’s made at least 42.1% of his 3-pointers in January and February.

Bullock has missed the past four games for the Mavericks, but he was carrying a heavy workload before his absence. He’s averaged 36.0 minutes over his last eight games, which represents a massive increase from his season average of 26.8. Bullock has averaged 7.4 3-point attempts per 36 minutes this season, which gives him the potential to get to three against the Timberwolves.

Dorian Finney-Smith Over 4.5 Rebounds and Over 11.5 Points

We can also look to DFS for some value with two more overs. The Mavericks are quite possibly the largest pace-up spot possible, so everyone on the team should benefit from extra possessions and opportunities. The Mavericks have played at the slowest pace in the league this season, while the Timberwolves have been blazing fast over their past 10 games. They’ve averaged 104.6 possessions per game over that time frame, and no other team in the league is above 102.8. The gap between the Timberwolves and Bucks – who rank second – is larger than the gap between the Bucks and Suns (who rank eighth).

Finney-Smith has averaged 10.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season, so his prop bets are in-line with his season averages. However, that likely makes them too low in one of the best possible matchups.
