Verizon 200 NASCAR DFS Tournament & GPP Picks | DraftKings & FanDuel

The field has been set for this Sunday’s Verizon 200 at The Brickyard for NASCAR’s fourth trip to a road course this season. With recent winner Tyler Reddick and Austin Cindric leading the field to Sunday, let’s dive into the best tournament plays for this weekend’s race.

NASCAR DFS GPP Picks Today

NASCAR heads to Indianapolis this weekend to take on the Indy Road Course as they have done away with racing at the famed oval. This makes it the fourth time visiting a road course this season, which will help pinpoint drivers who have shown speed at them so far this year. With these types of tracks not offering many laps, this in turn leads to dominator points not being as abundant making high finishing position upside and place differential the main focus when constructing lineups.

Top Driver Picks & Projections

Daniel Suarez $9,400 DraftKings/$12,000 FanDuel (11th)

Suarez got a bit of a price bump this weekend and with the abundance of place differential drivers this weekend, it could lead to lower ownership on one of the fastest cars in the field at road courses this season. The TrackHouse cars have been insanely fast across the board this year, but they own the top two spots in green flag speed at the three road course races this year. Starting in 11th he provides top five upside and will be a nice pivot up top this weekend.

Austin Cindric $9,100 DraftKings/$11,500 FanDuel (2nd)

It is a risky play to start on the front row, but Cindric is one of the best road course racers in the series and he has flashed that upside this year. Cindric is one of three drivers to finish inside the top ten at all three road course races this year, which is in line with the likes of Ross Chastain and Chase Elliott. He also put up the fastest lap in practice and has been one of the fastest cars across all three road races this year.

Latest NASCAR DFS Content

Chris Buescher $7,500 DraftKings/$7,800 FanDuel (16th)

Buescher has shown the ability to be able to hold his ground well, but he still should gain too much attention with the other high place differential plays priced around him. He has shown strong promise at similar tracks this year, and RFK as a whole looks like they’ve got some speed this weekend.

Michael McDowell $7,300 DraftKings/$7,200 FanDuel (7th)

McDowell and Buescher are pretty similar plays this weekend, but with McDowell qualifying much higher, this should lead to even lower ownership between the two drivers. And McDowell has been having a breakout season this year and has been equally as good at the road courses as well. His team got busted last week in a similar fashion to the JGR cars, but it still looks like he is going to bring a lot of speed on Sunday.

Brad Keselowski $6,800 DraftKings/$6,800 FanDuel (12th)

It only makes sense to have interest in both RFK cars this weekend. Keselowski also showed top speed in practice, placing sixth in the one lap and second in the five-lap averages. Both drivers have flashed top ten upside this year at road courses and their prices remain quite affordable. They make for excellent pivots off of a chalky Erik Jones, who showed virtually no speed on Saturday.
