KBO DFS Picks: Spotlight Pitchers
Eric Jokisch
If you’re playing cash games on Wednesday, you’re going to need Jokisch. We’re projecting him as the highest-owned pitcher on both sites. The Kiwoom Heroes are the largest favorites on the slate at -261. Jokisch deserves every bit of it too. He’s been lethal in 2020. Jokisch is 5-0 with a 21.4% strikeout rate and 2.37 FIP. You can’t really ask for better results. Don’t overthink this one. He’s chalky for a reason.
Aaron Brooks
If I needed a No. 2, or wanted to go a different direction on FanDuel, I would lean towards Brooks. Drew Rucinski would be the other option, but I prefer the savings with Brooks. The Kia Tigers are favorites at -158, which is the fourth-highest line on the slate. Brooks hasn’t had an issue with the transition to the KBO. He’s thrown 37.3 innings with a 21% strikeout rate and a 3.28. He’s even been a bit unlucky with his BABIP, so we could see some improvement as he settles in. Brooks was my second-most-exposed pitcher on both sites. He and Jokisch should be in the majority of your lineups.
