While Tuesday night’s small three-game slate left a lot to be desired, there is a monster 12-game slate beginning at 7 p.m. ET on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Let’s look at the player pool to discuss the top NBA DFS building blocks today for DraftKings and FanDuel lineups. Be sure to check out the Stokastic NBA DFS & Fantasy Basketball home page, where you can find fantasy basketball picks and analysis for each slate of games.
NBA DFS Building Blocks Today: Wednesday, November 30
Core Play of the Day — Kyle Anderson: Memphis Grizzlies-Minnesota Timberwolves
- Stokastic’s Preliminary Point Projections: DraftKings: 25.53 | FanDuel: 26.46
- Stokastic’s Preliminary Rostered Projections: DraftKings: 43.00% | FanDuel: 34.30%
- DFS Salary: DraftKings: $3,800 | FanDuel: $4,600
With Karl-Anthony Towns out for 4 to 6 weeks with a calf injury, it should come as no surprise that Kyle Anderson is going to be a core building block for lineups tonight. He gets a great matchup against his former team, the Memphis Grizzlies, and he should see a big uptick in minutes with Towns out.
Priced at only $3,800 on DraftKings, Anderson is one of the top value plays on the slate, and despite being a bit more expensive on FanDuel, he still looks like one of the top points-per-dollar plays at any position.
After Towns got hurt on Monday night, Anderson replaced him in Minnesota’s lineup, and he accounted for 8 points, eight rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes. Anderson is never going to be a prolific scorer, and he’s certainly much more solid than spectacular, but he’s a core play given his cheap price point.
Core Play of the Day — Zach Collins: San Antonio Spurs-Oklahoma City Thunder
- Stokastic’s Preliminary Point Projections: DraftKings: 30.52 | FanDuel: 30.54
- Stokastic’s Preliminary Rostered Projections: DraftKings: 24.60% | FanDuel: 45.10%
- DFS Salary: DraftKings: $4,500 | FanDuel: $4,500
While Anderson might be the best value play on the slate, Zach Collins is right there with him at $4,500 on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Jakob Poeltl is out for at least a week with a knee injury, and Collins should step into San Antonio’s starting center role and play good minutes, with Charles Bassey and Gorgui Dieng backing him up. Projected as the top points-per-dollar play on FanDuel, and second only to Jaylen Nowell on DraftKings, Collins is way too cheap at $4,500.
Additional NBA DFS Building Blocks Picks Today – Sports Wagering Opportunities
Tonight Dejounte Murray has a 2.5 over/under line on his 3-pointers prop for his matchup against the Magic. Stokastic’s NBA DFS projections have him for 2.09 3-pointers and a 68% likelihood that he falls below this threshold. These types of wagers with a high likelihood of success but a lower payout upside are best used as a leg in a straight or same-game parlay.

Indiana Pacers-Sacramento Kings
Tyrese Haliburton heads back to his old stomping grounds as he leads the Indiana Pacers into Sacramento for a battle with the Kings. Domantas Sabonis will also have revenge on his mind in a game with the 242.5-point total. The highest total of any game on the slate, expect plenty of fantasy points from both sides.
While choosing where to go in this game might seem a bit difficult, Indiana starts and ends with Haliburton. He has been incredible recently, with 40 assists and zero turnovers over the past three games. He is the only player in league history to ever accomplish that feat and should have a bit of extra pep in his step against the team that traded him away.
For the Kings, Sabonis looks like an elite play in all formats, matched up with a Pacers team that ranks last in the NBA against opposing centers. Expect Sabonis to have his way against his old teammates tonight, and at $9,200 on DraftKings, he’s not getting much love.
Final Thoughts on NBA DFS Picks Today
There are 26 teams in action tonight, so there will be news rolling in throughout the day leading up to lock. Additionally, there are a couple teams on a back-to-back after a small Tuesday night slate, which should further add to the voracity of actionable information yet to be revealed to the DFS world.
