If looking for a different way to play NFL DFS on Sunday, it is tough to find anything more unique than Jock MKT. NFL DFS becomes a stock exchange on this platform, allowing users to buy and sell in real-time for real money. To play, download the app here and get to trading. In this column, we will review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for NFL Week 14, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT Starter Kit: NFL Picks | Week 14
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Week 14
Josh Allen — QB — Buffalo Bills
Obviously, Josh Allen is coming off a bad game against the Patriots. While weather clearly played a factor, decision-making and strategy could also be called into question. He and the Bills as a whole need a bounce-back performance, and a matchup with the Buccaneers isn’t terrifying for a quarterback. The Buccaneers allow opponents to complete over 68% of their passes, and the Bills have a high chance to be trailing in this game as well, leading to more pass attempts. While the downfield shots may not be there, passing lanes to his underneath receivers could be open all game long. Jock MKT ranks Allen seventh on this slate, but Awesemo’s projections expect Allen to be the top overall player. If this happens, each Allen share would pay out $25. Awesemo projects his value to be at $10.16, so this would be a nice bit of profit.
Taysom Hill — QB — New Orleans Saints
Yes, Taysom Hill has a hurt finger that will likely affect him throwing the ball a bit. However, he faces a bad team in the Jets and the majority of his NFL fantasy value comes from his legs anyways. The Jets allow 4.5 yards per carry, which Hill should be able to take advantage of. He ran for 101 yards on 11 carries last game. The Jets are one of the worst teams against quarterbacks in general, so Hill should be able to move the ball through the air a bit as well, despite the injured finger and relatively talentless receiving corps. Jock MKT ranks Hill 10th on this slate, which would pay out only $11. Awesemo, on the other hand, projects Hill to finish fifth overall, which would pay $15 per share.

Austin Ekeler — RB — Los Angeles Chargers
Obviously, Austin Ekeler is a major part of the Chargers’ offensive game plan. He has averaged just over 17 touches per game. However, with Keenan Allen out with COVID, Ekeler should be even more involved, especially in the receiving game. Allen sees over 10 targets per game, so they have to go somewhere, and Ekeler makes sense to see at least a couple more targets. Jock MKT ranks him 20th on this slate, which would pay out only $7.50. Awesemo, on the other hand, projects Ekeler to finish fourth overall, which would pay $16 per share.
