NFL Picks: New York Jets vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Le’Veon Bell to score TD (-106) — DraftKings
This play is as square as it gets, but one that I’m willing to fire on. Bell ran well in his debut with the Chiefs, gaining 39 yards on six carries, but he still needs to get worked into game shape. let’s remember, Bell’s handled just 25 carries all season. Now he gets a slam dunk matchup to get some work under his belt against the Jets, which also happens to set up an ideal revenge game. I’m not messing around with the 20-point spread in this one, but the Chiefs are going to be up multiple possessions in the fourth quarter. If Kansas City wants to get Bell in the end zone in this game, it will.
NFL Picks: New Orleans Saints vs. Chicago Bears: Alvin Kamara OVER 6.5 receptions (+100) — DraftKings
The Saints have been without Michael Thomas pretty much all season, which has led to Kamara getting even more involved in the passing game. Kamara’s had at least eight receptions in four of the five games since MT got hurt, and his target share should only grow. Emmanuel Sanders, who was on the COVID-19 list last week, remains out, and Marquez Callaway, who stepped up with eight grabs for 75 yards has been ruled out with an ankle injury. Look for Kamara to play his largest role in the passing game yet, especially against a stingy Bears defense in some windy weather in Chicago. Drew Brees struggles outdoors to begin with, so look for plenty of check downs to his most trusted option.
