Kyle Kuzma was again asked to step up last game, scoring a game-high 30 points against the Kings. Today Awesemo is projecting Kuzma to score under 20 points. Dennis Schroder has scored between 17 and 24 points in each of the past five games, and Awesemo is projecting him to do so again, while leading the Lakers in points.

This is a large spread to cover for a team that doesn’t even have a homecourt advantage. On top of that, no one but Kawhi Leonard is trustworthy to score for the Clippers, whereas the Lakers have a few role players more capable of chipping in. Montrezl Harrell will also likely have a little extra energy off the bench facing his former team. While the Clippers should win this game, they probably will not win by double-digit points. This should be a close, low-scoring game.
