Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers: 6PT Teasers BUF -0.5/ PIT PK (-110)

If you’ve followed my content this season, you know I’ve been big on the 6-point teasers, and at these numbers, the Bills and Steelers are in the perfect spot. I teased at -110, but the moneyline parlay is the same bet, and you can find it at -115 to -120. Whatever gets you the better odds.

The Bills are the hottest team in the NFL right now, covering their last eight games, and winning seven of them by double-digits. Josh Allen and the passing game should be able to have their way against a regressing Indy defense, especially with another deep threat back in John Brown. Jonathan Taylor will be a key to the game on the ground, and I have interest in his rushing prop, but I don’t think the ground game will be enough to neutralize this game. Philip Rivers is historically not a good QB in the cold, and will make mistakes in what’s sure to be a road environment — the Bills will welcome almost 7,000 fans into the building for the first time this season.

The Steelers were actually a team I was almost sure I’d be fading on Wild Card Weekend. The Bengals loss was as ugly as it gets, but the bounce-back win over the Colts showed me that 11-0 Steelers team is in there somewhere if it needs to show up. Facing the Browns is a spot it can show up.

While I do trust the Steelers to make some plays offensively and let their strong defense lead them at home, this is more about fading the Browns. Cleveland can’t be ready for this game. It’s been 18 years since they made the postseason, and it feels like the Bills last season — happy to be there, but then a massive choke. The coach has COVID, multiple offensive linemen have COVID and players were out drag racing this week. This is the third matchup of the season against a division rival that owns them. The Browns won at home against Pittsburgh backups by two points last week, in what was a playoff game for them. The game in Pittsburgh in Week 6 was a 38-7 thumping. Pittsburgh gets it done.
