Bears vs Titans Game Info

Chicago Bears (5-3, 3-1 Away) vs. Tennessee Titans (5-2, 3-1 Home)
Date: Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020
Time: 1 p.m. EST
Venue: Nissan Stadium – Nashville, TN
Coverage: FOX

Both the Bears and the Titans head into this game as losers of two straight. It also looks to be a matchup of weakness vs. weakness. The Chicago offensive line has struggled this season, but they will be shaken up even more here. Bobby Massie was put on IR at the start of the week, Sam Mustipher has not practiced and Jason Spriggs, Germain Ifedi, and Cody Whitehair are all on the league’s COVID list. On the other side, the Titans have the worst pass rush in the league, with only a 2.48 percent sack rate. The team that overcomes their weakness will likely win the game.

The story continues to be the same for the Bears, where the defense cannot do it all. They are limited opponents to 20.8 points per game, but the offense has averaged just 20.1 points and 332 yards per game. David Montgomery has begun to have some success running the football, which helps take some pressure off of Nick Foles and the lackluster passing game, but Matt Nagy continues to regress to using Cordarrelle Patterson in the backfield, disrupting any rhythm the offense established.

For Tennessee, the continue to have a run-first mentality with Derrick Henry. However, the loss of left tackle Taylor Lewan has hurt, and Henry has had multiple games of being extremely inefficient. Still, if the Titans are able to recognize when the running game isn’t working as well as it could, Ryan Tannehill continues to show he is good enough to win games for this team. Weapons A.J. Brown and Corey Davis are both thriving this season, so Tennessee is capable of being a more balanced offense, when games call for it. They need to be willing to adapt within the game, before it’s too late.
