Damian Lillard & C.J. McCollum Over 7.5 Made 3-Pointers (+105 DraftKings)

This number seems so low given how well Damian Lillard has shot from the perimeter during this latest hot streak. He’s eclipsed 7.5 3-pointers just by himself in each of the last two games then you add in a good perimeter shooter in C.J. McCollum. Now, McCollum has struggled in the last three games by making just three of 17 attempts from long range, but he’s still shooting 37 percent from the 3-point line during the restart.

If Lillard continues to shoot as well as he’s been shooting, then the Lakers will have to make a decision on what to do. They could run Lillard off the 3-point line and potentially open up shots for McCollum or they could try to force the ball out of Lillard’s hands entirely and put the onus on McCollum to score. Either way, it’s hard to see how the Portland backcourt doesn’t find a way to make at least eight 3-pointers today against the Lakers.

Rockets & Thunder Over 30.5 Made 3-Pointers (+115 DraftKings)

Speaking of 3-pointers, no team took as many shots from behind the arc as the Houston Rockets, who also ranked 24th in 3-point shooting percentage. However, when you shoot that many 3s, it still means the Rockets made about 15.6 3-pointers per game, most in the league. In the bubble, the Thunder started taking more 3-pointers and made 13 per game.

That 30.5 number is very daunting for most NBA games, but when the Rockets are involved, there’s always a chance to hit it. James Harden is going to take on more of the scoring role, but he only accounts for roughly four 3-pointers per game. The rest will come from the Rockets role players, who will have more chances to shoot without Russell Westbrook in the lineup. Oklahoma City will contribute 13-15 makes as well, so the total is doable for this game.

LeBron James & Damian Lillard Score 70+ Points (+160 PointsBet)

Watching two of the best players in the league going at it is always enjoyable to watch. When every basket they make brings you closer to win some money, it’s even better. Damian Lillard has torn up the league over the last five games in the bubble, averaging 44.2 points per game in a stretch that includes two 50-plus-point performances. Then there’s LeBron James, who has averaged at least 30 points per game in three of his last four appearances in the playoffs.

This is going to be an offense-heavy game between these two teams and both of these players will get plenty of chances to shoot. Lillard is in such a groove right now that it’s hard to envision him slowing down anytime soon. Meanwhile, James is the ultimate competitor, so if the Lakers need him to score in bunches today, he will do exactly that to lead his team to victory. Both of these players could easily surpass 40 points today as they go back-and-forth at each other.
