General Strategy and Honda Classic PGA DFS Picks

The winds are supposed to be a bit weaker for the second round, with no real advantage going to either wave. In terms of scores today, the morning wave averaged 70.97 while the afternoon averaged 72.07.

PGA DFS Picks for Round 4 of The Honda Classic

  • Russell Henley ($9,400) He’s been in solid form for the latter part of a couple of months now but hasn’t played his best recently. However, a tournament that doesn’t require every putt to be made is a tailored fit for Henley. Plus, he’s putting well and that’s really all you can ask for at this point.
  • Zach Johnson ($8,600) The consistency continues, and Johnson now finds himself in position for his best finish on tour since his home event at the RSM Classic. Johnson hasn’t missed a cut since then, but there’s also been no real upside. In a weaker field event, sitting just four back of the second place, I think Johnson is in a good position to make a weekend run.
  • Denny McCarthy ($7,500) For the second straight week, McCarthy seems to be in some pretty good form, and when that happens, his putter is so good, it’s really hard to fade him. Especially at this salary, McCarthy provides some nice flexibility down the board.

Sneaky PGA DFS Pick for Round 4

  • C.T. Pan ($7,300) While his form hasn’t quite been there recently, Pan seems to find a sense of comfort at this course where others don’t. He hits a ton of fairways and when his irons start going, Pan gets a ton of quality birdie looks. A tough finish to his round today after getting to -5 at one point will leave a bit of a sour taste. Hopefully, Pan will be able to keep up the form and move up the board over the weekend.

DraftKings and FanDuel The Honda Classic Lineup Fill-Ins

  • Adam Scott ($9,400)
  • Ricke Fowler ($8,800)
  • Scott Harrington ($7,100)
  • Chase Koepka ($6,300)
