Diggs’ Production in 2020
Last year there was a clear issue with Diggs’ ADP. While Diggs never failed to play well for the Vikings, his ADP had him as a middle-round pick. The dreaded COVID offseason justified that a bit since it seemed Diggs would not get as much chemistry with Allen. Plus, Allen’s accuracy struggles in the past pushed drafters away. But ultimately neither of those were factors; Allen received MVP votes, and Diggs looked like he has been playing with Allen since they were children. He led the league in targets, receptions and yards, and his eight touchdowns were 13th. All told he had a 29.2% target share and a 19.7% red zone target share.

This year Diggs is a first-round pick across the board. With the leap Allen took last year, and with Diggs being the clear alpha target in Buffalo, there should not be much room for disagreement. Even if the targets drop (which should not happen), an increase in touchdowns could be coming his way. The Bills offensive saw no real changes that would make the unit worse. Diggs also has some of that game-breaking potential that Tyreek Hill has. Keep it safe, keep it simple, and take Diggs as a top-three wide receiver.
