Top 5 DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today

5. Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers

Lillard is projected to score 60 points, with a goal of 64, making him a frequent addition to the optimal lineup. With a projected 37 minutes of playing time, 38% usage and 1.6 fantasy points per minute, he is a reliable choice for fantasy players. Lillard will be facing the Detroit Pistons, who have a weak defensive record, providing him with an excellent opportunity to rack up points. Despite playing on a back-to-back, Lillard’s potential for high points makes him a player to consider.

4. Trey Murphy, New Orleans Pelicans

With a price tag of $4,400, Murphy is projected for 25 fantasy points and is in the optimal lineup 21% of the time. He is a shooting guard and small forward, providing great flexibility for lineup construction. He is expected to play 32 minutes in a pace-up spot against the Kings, whose defense is not strong. Although Murphy only has a usage rate of 16%, he averages 0.79 fantasy points per minute and has the potential to fill up the stat sheet with 14 points, four boards, 1.5 assists and 1.5 stocks.

3. Cam Reddish, Portland Trail Blazers

Reddish is shooting guard and small forward eligible, priced at $4,300 and projected for 25 fantasy points, with a 27-point goal. He’s in the optimal lineup 25% of the time and is expected to play 31 minutes. Reddish averages 0.8 fantasy points per minute, 14 points on 19% usage, four boards, 2.5 assists and 1.5 stocks. He’s facing the Pistons, which is an incredible matchup and makes him a great play by default. With great positional flexibility, a reasonable price tag and solid production, Reddish is a smart pick for NBA DFS players.

2. Tyrese Maxey, Philadelphia 76ers

Maxey is a point guard and shooting guard for the Philadelphia 76ers, with a projected score of 31.5 at a salary of $5,500. The goal is 33.5, and he has an optimal lineup frequency of 26%. Maxey is likely to start and play 34 minutes at 0.9 fantasy points per minute, making him a solid scorer, with 21 points, 3.5 boards, three assists and a stock. Additionally, the matchup against Indiana, which has a weak defense, should further bolster his scoring. The potential absence of Tobias Harris and P.J. Tucker creates more playing time and an opportunity for Maxey to score even more, potentially reaching 38 minutes. With a low price and favorable position, Maxey is an excellent pick for DraftKings NBA DFS.

1. Marvin Bagley, Detroit Pistons

Bagley is a power forward and center with a projected score of 36 at a salary of $5,500, making him an affordable option. He is in the optimal lineup 34% of the time. There are no other bigs on the Pistons, which gives Bagley the potential to play up to 34 minutes. With 1.3 fantasy points per minute, he is likely to score well against Portland’s weak defense. Even though the Pistons are 6-point underdogs, Bagley’s expected performance of 17 points, 11 boards, 24% usage, an assist and 1.5 stocks makes him the easiest and most valuable pick for the day.
