Top 5 FanDuel NBA DFS Picks Today

5. Evan Mobley, Cleveland Cavaliers

Mobley has a favorable matchup against the Charlotte Hornets, where he is projected to score 43.5 fantasy points, with a goal of 49. He is in the optimal lineup 20% of the time. With Jarett Allen absent, Mobley gets to play a lot of minutes at the five, which is beneficial for him. Additionally, he is projected to play 36 minutes, scoring 1.2 fantasy points per minute, with 22% usage, 19 points and 13 boards. He is also expected to have 2.5 assists and 2.5 stocks. The fact that he is rosterable at power forward gives you flexibility, making him an even more appealing option for FanDuel NBA DFS.

4. Cameron Johnson, Brooklyn Nets

Johnson has a projection of 32 points and a goal of 39. He is in the optimal lineup 21% of the time and is rosterable at small forward and power forward positions. Johnson is projected to play 31 minutes and the game has a fast pace, making it a great spot for him to perform. He averages a fantasy point per minute, with 18 points on 24% usage, six boards, two assists and potentially a stock and a half. Johnson is a mid-tier price tag, making him an excellent option, especially given the lack of value in the current slate.

3. Immanuel Quickley, New York Knicks

Quickley has a projection of 35 points and a goal of 42. He is eligible for the point guard and shooting guard positions at a price of $6,900. With a doubtful tag on Jalen Brunson, Quickley is expected to play around 34 minutes, providing a fantasy point per minute. He is facing Portland, who has a neutral pace and offers a competitive game. Quickley has a usage rate of 22%, with 18 points, 5.5 assists, five boards and a steal. Although he did not perform well in his last game, Quickley has the potential to recover in this matchup, making him an excellent choice for FanDuel NBA DFS. His price tag is under $7,000, and given his ability to play up to 40 minutes, Quickley is worth considering for FanDuel.

2. Lamar Stevens, Cleveland Cavaliers

Stevens is not the most exciting FanDuel NBA DFS pick, but he presents great value on the slate. Projected for 20.5 points at a price tag of $4,000, his goal is just 28 points, but he is in the optimal lineup 26% of the time. He is a power forward but has played shooting guard and started in the Cavaliers’ most recent game without Allen. Assuming he gets another start, Stevens is projected for 28 minutes and has a rate of 0.7 fantasy points per minute. He is not the most efficient scorer, but he is going up against a great matchup in the Hornets, so there’s some potential for him to exceed value.

1. Josh Okogie, Phoenix Suns

Although he may not remain the top pick throughout the day, Okogie offers great value for his $5,100 price tag. As a shooting guard and small forward, he plays over 30 minutes each night and averages 0.87 fantasy points per minute. In a competitive game against Milwaukee, he is expected to play well over the 30-minute mark and has potential to score 33.5 fantasy points. He may not offer many stocks, but he is an efficient way to build a lineup at the moment. As pay-down options increase, pay-up options may become more attractive, but Okogie is currently the top choice.
