DFS is hard, especially for baseball. You can learn everything there is to know about the players, the teams and their potential for a big game, but that’s only the first step to winning in MLB DFS. Users can create 20 high-ROI MLB DFS lineups in seconds using the Lineup Generator, which comes coupled with Stokastic’s MLB DFS projections and MLB DFS ownership projections.
Lineups are created in the tool in a manner of seconds. Users select the site they are building for (DraftKings or FanDuel), followed by their stack preferences. The stacking choices in include 5-3, 5-x, or 4-4 on DraftKings and 4-4, 4-3-1 or 4-2-2 on FanDuel. There is also an option to allow Lineup Generator to create “all stack types.”
Next, the user enters in ownership preference. The choices are “chalky,” “balanced” or “contrarian.” This step allows the user to customize the lineup based on the contest(s) that they intend to play and the risk profile they prefer. Those playing in large-field MLB DFS tournaments might go with more contrarian approaches in contrast to players looking for lineups suited to smaller field GPPs or cash games.
Users can manage their exposures by telling Lineup Generator if there are players they would like to lock prior to creating the lineups. Is there a pitcher you can’t live without, or a hitter who isn’t getting enough love on tonight’s MLB DFS slate? Lock him in.
The tool provides Stokastic’s MLB DFS ownership projections next to each player to give you an idea for where the field is doing. Once the parameters are set, Lineup Generator produces lineups using the top fantasy point and ownership projections.
Every lineup that gets generated is measured against various metrics to determine the highest graded lineups. Like the lineup? Save it. Don’t like it? Discard it and take a look at the next one. Once you’ve saved all your lineups (up to 20), users can export them directly from the tool into a CSV that can be uploaded into DraftKings or FanDuel.
The tool will show you each lineup with its averaged projected fantasy points and its ownership. Users can also see their player exposures within their 20-lineup set. If you want to change your exposures or take a different position on a player or stack, you can continue to “get more lineups.”
