PGA DFS Players & Bettors Love the Favored Scottie Scheffler at AT&T Byron Nelson

PGA DFS players and bettors are in agreement that Scottie Scheffler is a solid play despite his high price tag at the AT&T Byron Nelson this weekend. Scheffler is left as one of the few proven players left in the field after Jordan Spieth withdrew from the AT&T Byron Nelson with an injury. Scheffler is unsurprisingly the favorite this weekend and fans getting some action on the event are all over the Texan in his home state.

Scottie Scheffler is garnering plenty of betting attention as well. Per BetMGM data analyst John Ewing, Scheffler (+350 to win) has the most bet tickets (6.9%) and handle percentage (10.4%) for the tournament. New users at BetMGM can benefit from a first-bet insurance of up to $1,000 when picking any player to win this weekend’s event!

He will certainly be a fan favorite playing in his home state of Texas at TPC Craig Ranch this week. Scheffler has not finished top 10 at this course in his professional career but carded an impressive 19 under to place 19th in last year’s AT&T Byron Nelson. Bottom line is he better go low if he wants to be competing on Sunday.

Scheffler has had another productive run to kick off his 2023 campaign. The 2022 Master Champion has already notched two wins, defending his title at the WM Phoenix Open before winning THE PLAYERS in March. He figured to be a threat to repeat at The Masters, but some putting woes doomed him down the stretch.

Nevertheless, Scheffler is in form to win any tournament and has a better chance than anyone else in the field to win the AT&T Byron Nelson. It is no surprise that PGA DFS players and bettors are high on Scheffler as he looks to add another chapter to his incredible two-year run.
