NHL DFS Picks & Top Stacks | February 24
Top Stacks
Buffalo Sabres Line 1 — Alex Tuch, Tage Thompson, Jeff Skinner
The Sabres top line has the highest top-2 stack percentage and positive leverage percentage in Stokastic’s Top Stacks Tool, with over 20% chance of being a top-2 stack on tonight’s slate. Additionally, it has a road matchup against the Florida Panthers in a game with a 7.0 Vegas total, making it an excellent choice for GPP formats on DraftKings.
Los Angeles Kings Line 2 — Kevin Fiala, Phillip Danault, Viktor Arvidsson
This trio combined for 10 points in their first game together last night, and they have some positive leverage, with just 5% in the ownership projections in the Top Stacks Tool.

Defensemen
Travis Hamonic, Ottawa Senators
Hamonic should play around 20 minutes tonight and has a solid floor, with the DraftKings three-block bonus well within reach for a reasonable price tag. He has 26 blocks in his last nine games and attempts 11 shots per 60 minutes.
Brandon Montour, Florida Panthers
Montour has been hitting 25 minutes regularly recently and is one of the two defensemen on the Panthers top power play unit. He has been aggressive lately, attempting 7.2 shot attempts per game at all strengths over his last five.
Goaltender
Jake Allen, Montreal Canadiens
Allen is projected for over 28 saves in Stokastic’s NHL DFS projections, and despite his opponent having a 3.3 expected total, the Flyers are not a gifted team offensively, especially missing their top scorer Travis Konecny. At $7,000, Allen is a cheap goalie that is going to see volume, making him a great option for DFS tonight.
